In this role, you will request, track, and manage medical records from multiple sources to ensure records are received quickly, accurately, and in full. You will communicate professionally with clients and healthcare facilities while maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.</p><p dir="auto"></p><h4 dir="auto"><strong>What You'll Do</strong></h4><ul dir="auto"><li dir="auto"><p dir="auto">Request and obtain medical records from hospitals, clinical facilities (including physician offices), and other healthcare providers, including via partner portals</p></li><li dir="auto"><p dir="auto">Follow up on outstanding medical records requests via phone, fax, email, or partner portals</p></li><li dir="auto"><p dir="auto">Review records for completeness and accuracy</p></li><li dir="auto"><p dir="auto">Track request status and maintain detailed logs and databases</p></li><li dir="auto"><p dir="auto">Organize, merge, name, and upload medical records into electronic platforms</p></li><li dir="auto"><p dir="auto">Ensure compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, PIPEDA, and other applicable privacy regulations</p></li><li dir="auto"><p dir="auto">Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive information</p></li><li dir="auto"><p dir="auto">Communicate with internal staff regarding records status, timelines, and delays</p></li><li dir="auto"><p dir="auto">Resolve issues related to incomplete, missing, or duplicate records</p></li><li dir="auto"><p dir="auto">Process authorizations and releases of information (ROI)</p></li></ul><h4 dir="auto"><strong>Who You Are</strong></h4><ul dir="auto"><li dir="auto"><p dir="auto">At least two years of experience in Customer Service</p></li><li dir="auto"><p dir="auto">At least two years of experience in healthcare services</p></li><li dir="auto"><p dir="auto">Working knowledge of medical terminology and the healthcare system</p></li><li dir="auto"><p dir="auto">Excellent spoken and written communication skills</p></li><li dir="auto"><p dir="auto">Data entry skills (Intermediate level or above)</p></li><li dir="auto"><p dir="auto">Ability to rapidly solve problems while coordinating with team members and healthcare facilities</p></li><li dir="auto"><p dir="auto">Excellent listening skills</p></li><li dir="auto"><p dir="auto">Strong time management skills</p></li></ul>
