Mental Health Counselor

New Hire Bonus $3,000

This position serves clients in Lowell and surrounding areas, including Billerica, Chelmsford, Dracut, Lowell, Tewksbury, Tyngsboro, and Westford. Ask me about my other locations!

Are you passionate, self-motivated, and committed to sharing your clinical skills and knowledge with a dynamic team? Our Master's Level Clinicians provide home and community-based mental health, behavioral, and/or substance use services to individuals, couples, families, and groups. These are self-scheduling, Monday-Friday, days, and after-school hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead individual, family, couples, and group therapy
  • Conduct client intake sessions
  • Facilitate crisis intervention
  • Conduct case management
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to present cases for proper treatment
  • Open to outreach, meeting people where they are

 

Qualifications:

  • Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology or related degree
  • Master's in Social Work must have their LCSW per MassHealth regulations
  • Must have completed a full-time clinical internship in a mental health setting
  • Must be license eligible by the State of Massachusetts
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing
  • Exceptional communication skills with an ability to establish trust and rapport quickly
  • A good listener with an ability to empathize while still providing guidance
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach
  • A commitment to quality in everything you do

 

Compensation:

Unlicensed- $60,000 base salary for 25 hours/week productivity. Quarterly productivity bonuses of $500-4000 for 26+ productivity hours/week average.

Licensed- $65,000 base salary for 25 hours/week productivity. Quarterly productivity bonuses of $1000-6000 for 26+ productivity hours/week average.
