Overview<br>Location: Ray Lodge Centre. Redbridge Mental Health Support Team (MHST) are hoping to recruit an educational psychologist who is passionate about early intervention for CYP Mental Health.<br>Position : Full Time - Permanent<br>What is an MHST? MHSTs are a national initiative in response to the Government’s plans to transform children and young people’s mental health provision.<br>Redbridge MHST context<br>Redbridge MHST established in 2021 and is growing in line with the national expansion of MHSTs. We value a systemic and relational approach and sit alongside a team of Educational Psychologists and the Redbridge Educational Well-Being Team (REWT).<br>The Opportunity<br>As a developing team there is remit to shape the role depending on professional interest and expertise. The role would be suitable for newly qualified or experienced Educational Psychologists (EPs).<br>The Main Duties of the Role<br>Supervising practitioners who deliver low-intensity CBT-based guided self-help interventions to children, young people and their families, including group supervision and individual case management supervision.<br>Providing whole school mental health support to school staff and the wider community, including training, projects, parent/carer support and borough-wide campaigns.<br>Delivering evidence-based interventions directly to children, young people and their families, both individually and in groups.<br>There is an opportunity to undertake a one-year postgraduate diploma in Children and Young People’s Mental Health Supervision at a London university.<br>Applications must be HCPC registered and will be subject to DBS checks.<br>Why Redbridge is an attractive place to work<br>We are a dynamic, friendly, and supportive team who meet regularly to share practice and enable the whole team.<br>Induction programme tailored to your needs, career development support and an annual service CPD programme.<br>The MHST is a relatively new service; applicants will have the opportunity to shape and develop the service.<br>Redbridge is in the north east of London with rapid transport links to Central London and easy access to the M11.
