In this role, you’ll work in a team-based approach toward achieving wellness and improved overall health for each individual receiving care, with an emphasis on behavior change to address subclinical and mild to moderate clinical mental health conditions. You will work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced startup environment with the primary aim of increasing ease of access to mental health services. Primary responsibilities include completing comprehensive assessments, providing individual therapy to adults utilizing a multi-session yet brief model of care, and consulting with medical providers and other members of the care team.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>How You’ll Make an Impact at Nice</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct clinical assessments, including administering and interpreting standardized screening tools, to evaluate clinical acuity and determine the appropriate level of care.</li><li>Collaborate with colleagues, patients, and families to develop and implement inclusive care plans that reflect the intersecting identities of the patient and address their comprehensive treatment needs.</li><li>Regularly monitor progress toward treatment goals and adjust interventions as needed.</li><li>Deliver brief, evidence-based psychotherapy to individuals or groups based on the treatment plan.</li><li>Document all assessments, interventions, and progress notes in the EHR system, as well as utilize other digital platforms for patient care.</li><li>Coordinate care and collaborate with community agencies or external providers when necessary.</li><li>Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families to support treatment outcomes.</li><li>Consult with primary care providers, such as FNPs, PAs, and physical therapists, to clarify diagnoses, conceptualize cases, provide brief interventions, and develop shared care plans.</li><li>Serve as a subject matter expert by participating in patient-facing webinars or creating training materials for colleagues.</li><li>Engage in internal training opportunities led by colleagues across the mental health, physical therapy, and primary care teams.</li><li>Provide culturally responsive care, considering the unique lived experiences and needs of patients from diverse backgrounds.</li></ul><p>Requirements</p><p><strong>What You’ve Done Before</strong></p><ul><li>Provided evidence-based therapeutic interventions for diverse clinical presentations, with a strong emphasis on brief psychotherapy models such as SFBT, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing.</li><li>Applied a deep understanding of therapeutic theories and interventions tailored for fast-paced clinical environments to ensure effective and timely care delivery.</li><li>Collaborated across disciplines (e.g., medical, physical therapy, schools, social/community programs) to deliver holistic, patient-centered care.</li><li>Maintained a commitment to kindness, support, and positivity in all interactions—with both patients and team members.</li><li>Worked independently while actively contributing to a dynamic and collaborative virtual team environment.</li><li>Leveraged EHRs and digital platforms to provide efficient, accurate, and seamless patient care and documentation.</li><li>Operated from a private, professional home office space conducive to conducting virtual visits with confidentiality and professionalism.</li><li>Demonstrated strong organizational and multitasking skills, effectively managing multiple priorities and adapting to evolving demands.</li><li>Expressed a passion for driving innovation and delivering exceptional mental health services.</li><li>Embraced a collaborative, dynamic environment with innovation and adaptability.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to apply cultural humility in therapeutic practice.</li></ul><p>If you meet some but not all of the qualifications, we still encourage you to apply.
