Merge Clinical Cardiology Pre-Sales Consultant

The Imaging Pre-Sales Clinical Consultant is a client facing role within the Sales Organization at Merative that drives sales through consultative understanding of clients’ needs and clinical impact, our solutions’ Unique Business Values, and the specific sales strategy for a client while working under minimal supervision. <br><br>This role supports the initiatives to consult with clients to understand their clinical department use cases, interoperability needs, technical and business challenges, and vision for the future. Document consultative findings and solution scope, drive accurate quoting, and support client deliverables. Ensure solutions are designed in with regulations, to meet client needs, IT/IS strategy, budgetary requirements, and conform to product capabilities. Provide timely feedback to Solution Management for improvements to the Merative Solutions<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Partner with sales representatives to develop and execute an effective selling strategy for each opportunity.</li><li>Document customer’s goals, objective, opportunities, problems, obstacles, and link back to Merge solution Unique Business Values.</li><li>Provide workflow analysis of current state and how Merge solutions can improve upon existing state.</li><li>Analyze the competitive landscape of each deal in order to properly position Merge’s unique business values / differentiators.</li><li>Develop proposed solutions that address prospect-specific clinical, business, and technology issues.</li><li>Perform tailored onsite product demonstrations and presentations to clinical end users, IT staff, business analysts and executives.</li><li>Answer Clinical questions about product applications and new features to prospects and to various groups within new and existing customer accounts.</li><li>Gather ongoing prospect-customer feedback and related information and give feedback to product management.</li><li>Assist in staging and staffing industry tradeshows.</li><li>Pursues a program of self-development using selected reading, seminars, and participation in continuing education.</li><li>Identifies and communicates possible improvements in the work process for customers and peers.</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or upper management.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Core Competencies:</b></p><ul><li>Strong ability to articulate technology concepts to both high-level business audiences and highly clinical or technical individuals.</li><li>Demonstrated self-confidence and self-reliance in conducting demonstrations, presentations and experience working in healthcare imaging business situations.</li><li>Broad background and general knowledge of clinical, technical, administrative, and financial areas of running an effective Imaging <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">(Radiology/Cardiology)</span> department.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications Required:</b></p><p></p><p><b>Education Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or equivalent experience</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Experience</b></p><ul><li>Preferred Certifications Include: Registered Radiologic Technologist and/or Vascular/ Echo Tech</li><li>Five (5) years of experience in the healthcare field working with Imaging applications and computer networks.</li><li>Two (2) years of experience providing application support and explaining clinical and technical concepts to customers and sales prospects or providing internal support to company employees.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Work Environment</b></p><p><i>The work environment characteristics here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
