We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead with deep expertise in Salesforce Vlocity (Salesforce Industries) to lead our technical team and drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable, high-quality Vlocity solutions. The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on development skills with leadership capabilities to guide complex projects and mentor team members.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

- Lead the design and architecture of Salesforce Vlocity solutions for Telecommunication industry vertical.

- Drive the development and customization of OmniStudio components (OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, FlexCards) to meet evolving business needs.

- Oversee integration strategies using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms to ensure seamless connectivity between Salesforce and external systems.

- Provide technical leadership in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, and other Salesforce platform technologies.

- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and project managers to define technical requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.

- Establish best practices and standards for code quality, testing, deployment, and documentation within the team.

- Lead code reviews, provide mentorship to developers, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

- Manage technical risks and resolve complex issues impacting project delivery and system performance.

- Drive adoption of CI/CD pipelines, Salesforce DX, and version control tools to streamline development workflows.

- Stay current with Salesforce and Vlocity product releases and evaluate their impact or benefits for ongoing projects.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies, help with sprint planning, estimation, and ensure timely delivery of features.

- Support pre-sales activities by providing technical expertise and solution demonstrations when required.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

 

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 6+ years of experience in Salesforce development, with at least 3 years focused on Salesforce Vlocity (Salesforce Industries) solutions.

- Proven experience leading technical teams and delivering complex Salesforce Vlocity implementations.

- Expert-level knowledge of Salesforce Vlocity OmniStudio components: OmniScript, DataRaptor, Integration Procedure, FlexCards.

- Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components.

- Deep understanding of Salesforce integration patterns, APIs, and middleware technologies.

- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Salesforce DX, Git, Jenkins, or equivalent tools.

- Strong architectural skills and ability to design scalable, maintainable solutions.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.

- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Platform Developer II, Salesforce Industries OmniStudio Developer, or Salesforce Architect certifications are highly desirable.

 

Preferred Skills:

 

- Experience in one or more Vlocity industry verticals such as Telecom, Insurance, Energy, or Health.

- Knowledge of Salesforce CPQ, Billing, and Billing integrations.

- Experience with middleware platforms like MuleSoft.

- Proven ability to mentor and grow technical teams.

- Understanding of DevOps practices and automation frameworks.
