Overview:

Blanchard Valley Urology Associates, part of the esteemed Blanchard Valley Health System, is seeking a dedicated full-time Nurse Practitioner with experience in urology or gynecology. This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality outpatient urologic care within a progressive, technology-driven environment that values professional growth and staff wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage and coordinate outpatient urologic care for adult patients in a busy clinical setting.
  • Handle a patient caseload of approximately 15-20 per clinic day, including new and returning patients.
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, formulate diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Perform pre-operative evaluations and post-operative follow-up care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, medications, and recovery processes.
  • Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic tests and laboratory results effectively.
  • Conduct occasional inpatient rounding as needed to support comprehensive patient care.
  • Document all clinical encounters accurately within the Cerner/Oracle Health EMR system, utilizing AI-assisted tools to enhance documentation efficiency.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, staying current with advances in urology care and clinical standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all institutional policies, regulatory standards, and quality metrics.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current certification.
  • Minimum of [X] years of relevant clinical experience in urology or gynecology.
  • Proven ability to independently manage patient care in an outpatient setting.
