About the Role
We are looking for a high-energy, disciplined Sales Representative to own a territory and drive lubrication excellence for industrial plants, fleets, and Certified Laboratories partners. This is a true hunter-farmer field sales role where you will serve as the trusted lubrication advisor—using hands-on demonstrations, technical expertise, and proven selling systems to win new business, deepen existing relationships, and deliver measurable reliability improvements for your customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute 15+ high-impact, in-person sales calls daily following the proven “Gears of Selling” process
  • Carry and masterfully present a 40 lb sales demo bag with live samples, contamination tools, filtration cutaways, and visual aids on every call
  • Follow the structured Sales Bag Progression to uncover needs, demonstrate value, recommend solutions, and close business on the spot
  • Consistently write 40+ orders per month, with strong emphasis on high-volume products including grease, gear oils, hydraulic & transmission fluids, engine oils, Tier 4 diesel fuel programs, cleaners, degreasers, and aerosols
  • Build and maintain a minimum of 200 active accounts purchasing 10+ SKUs each
  • Collaborate with Corporate, Regional, and Key Account teams on joint calls, program rollouts, and contract execution
  • Deliver annual Value Advantage reports quantifying cost savings, uptime gains, and ROI
  • Perform disciplined Friday PM Planning every week and maintain real-time Salesforce records

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to carry a 40 lb demo bag daily
  • Self-starter with history of exceeding sales targets
  • Outstanding presentation and relationship skills

Because this position is a sales role, the total first year compensation can vary between $60,000-$100,000 based on performance. The base salary for this position is $30,000-$50,000 (excluding bonus earnings) which represents the low and high end salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to: experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is only one component of our Total Rewards package for associates. Please note that this range does not include commissions which for some associates is a substantial part of their overall compensation and there is no maximum for commissions.
