Commission is in search of a qualified General Manager. In this role, you will support the Board, handle contract management, and ensure smooth operations at the Port of Yarmouth.

Your responsibilities will also include bookkeeping, preparing budgets, and liaising with various stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Board with its strategic mandate
  • Administer medical clinic leases effectively
  • Prepare operating and capital budgets for approval
  • Manage payroll activities accurately and timely
  • Participate in industry associations and represent the Board Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in business administration or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years in a senior or executive role
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Knowledge of policy-governance systems
  • Proven organizational and time management skills Excel in leadership and strategic support with the Yarmouth Area Industrial Commission.
