As a Rawlings Sales Associate you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of products from gloves, bats, training equipment and apparel.

General Overview: Rawlings Part-time Sales Associates provide exceptional advice and assistance to customers to maximize the likelihood of a sale. This role will be responsible for a variety of duties that pertain to creating an inspirational, fun, and engaging experience for customers and fellow coworkers. The ideal candidate will be able to acquire thorough knowledge of the Rawlings’ products and pass that knowledge to customers along with a great deal of enthusiasm.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provides exceptional customer service.
  • Assists customers in navigating challenges and finding customer centric solutions.
  • Demonstrates a passion to sell and add value to the customer buying experience.
  • Actively and constructively participate in the continual improvement of the Rawlings Experience Center Store.
  • Uses different selling techniques and presentation methods to assist customers with product selection.
  • Provides accurate information regarding product features and benefits.
  • Drives profitable growth and achieves individual and department goals.
  • Support fellow sales associates and team members.
  • Monitors, maintains, and improves upon all merchandising and stock room solutions.
  • Ensure all selling areas are always fully stocked with all styles and sizes of all merchandise.
  • Ensure stockrooms are always clean, neat, and tidy with product properly stocked on shelves.
  • Monitors and maintains fitting rooms.
  • Operates cash register.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Education Required:

  • High school diploma/GED preferred.
  • One year of customer service and/or retail experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Team oriented and collaborative approach.
  • Exhibits a curiosity to learn and grow from challenges.
  • Professional and outgoing personality.
  • Possessing a thorough understanding and passion for baseball, softball and all related equipment preferred.
  • Available days, nights, weekends, and holidays.


Working Conditions:
General retail store environment. Ability to stand for long periods of time and use staircase very frequently. The employee will occasionally lift, push, and/or move objects weighing 30-50 pounds.
