How You’ll Contribute:

The Account Executive will join a solid team of professionals who are passionate about growing Diversified's role serving live performance spaces, churches, faith-based organizations, and faith-based broadcasters around the world.  

You will be in a performance-based hunter role, utilizing a consultative solutions sales approach, with rewards for creativity and hard work. The Account Executive will be a solid relationship builder with the ability to penetrate organizations and build strong relationships. You have a knack for asking broader questions and discerning long-term needs and solutions outside of the traditional “product” sale.  

This role is empowered to develop the Live Performance market by establishing relationships with influential end users, established consultants, and architects to promote the market’s unique value proposition through Diversified’s innovative design-build and forward-thinking project results. 

Once a client engagement is sold, you will work alongside the rest of the sales and design team to create engaging and high-impact production environments. You will communicate specific client requirements to internal and external Diversified support personnel, assist in building project bill of materials, and creation of conceptual images and documents to support the design development. It is your responsibility to own the client relationship fully from start to finish, making certain that client expectations are being met or exceeded by creating realistic expectations, then taking responsibility for meeting those expectations.   

This position is 100% remote and will require hours on the phone, in front of a computer, as well as travel to visit clients in person up to 60% of the time.

What You’ll Do:

Business Development & Sales: 

  • Develop client relationships, make prospect calls to generate customer meetings, maintain customer data in the CRM, organize client meetings, ensure clients’ objectives, problems, and needs are fully understood, provide value-added solutions 
  • Conduct high level conversations with executive leadership 
  • Function as the lead customer relationship manager for new and assigned accounts  
  • Opportunity Forecasting/Sales Proposals/Sales Pipeline utilizing a CRM 
  • Partner with the Vice President – Faith + Performance and Director of Strategic Accounts – Performance to manage the sales process and creation of sales deliverables for all clients regardless of relationship owner 
  • Participate in coordinated activities such as trade shows and conferences in order to build our brand, develop relationships, and advance in knowledge that will assist our clients 

 

Sales Engineering: 

  • Participate in sales meetings with clients, design reviews with our internal team, and project training and client consulting as needed 
  • Responsible for the creation of opinions of cost budgets, rough orders of magnitude, conceptuals, bill of materials, narratives, and agreements at the direction of team leadership 

 

Technical and Business Expertise:
