About the Position Position: Pediatrician – Primary Care

VieMed Healthcare Staffing, a leading Joint Commission Certified agency, is seeking a qualified Pediatrician for a permanent primary care position within a community clinic setting. Location: Hawthorne, California

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Permanent

Work Schedule: Full-time, 8-hour daytime shifts, 5 days per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive pediatric care for a diverse patient population in a busy outpatient clinic.
  • Conduct thorough examinations, diagnose, and manage common and complex pediatric health conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters.
  • Adhere to all clinical protocols, guidelines, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics.
  • Active, unrestricted California Medical License.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • DEA registration.
  • Proven experience in pediatric outpatient care preferred.
Compensation:
  • Salary range of $110.00 to $115.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Workload & Patient Volume:

  • Manage approximately 20-22 patients daily.
  • No night shifts or weekend calls, promoting work-life balance.
