About the Position Facility Details and Responsibilities

Join a highly respected, hospital-employed team located on the hospital campus in a beautiful mountain town.

  • Cardiac and Thoracic cases
  • Work alongside 1 full-time and 1 part-time Cardiothoracic Surgeon, 3 Structural Cardiologists, 3 Vascular Surgeons, and dedicated APPs
  • Da Vinci XI and Da Vinci 5 robotic systems available
  • Onsite cardiopulmonary lab and rehab services
  • Strong thoracic referral base with in-house pulmonologist utilizing the ION system
  • Call rotation: 1:2
  • Perform both cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures
  • Opportunity to mentor and support a new CT surgery fellow
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to grow surgical volumes (goal to double current heart cases of ~150/year)
  • Option to perform vascular procedures on own patients (vascular team already in place)
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
  • 5–7+ years of post-fellowship experience
  • Strong clinical skills and proven surgical outcomes
  • Leadership ability with a passion for program development and mentorship
  • Collaborative team-oriented mindset
