Policy & Corporate Communications Manager [Remote]

<p> Spotify's Global Communications team is seeking a Policy & Corporate Communications Manager. This pivotal role will support the Global Communications team in issues management and safeguarding and enhancing Spotify's brand trust across markets. The ideal candidate will possess strong corporate and policy communications expertise in safety and privacy; has close working relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders; and maintains well-established connections with press and influencer media.<br /> The manager will also support regional market teams in handling sensitive issues and managing narratives as needed. You will work with global teams to develop and implement strategic, integrated communications plans and narratives, utilizing a mix of earned, owned, paid, and social channels. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in global tech or media companies, be a self-starter, work autonomously, and bring a creative and innovative approach to their work.<br /> What You'll Do<br /> • Strategically plan and execute fully-fledged 360° plans across media types and channels to elevate our corporate stories, aligned and embedded into our local and regional business objectives.<br /> • Manage proactive and reactive media relations, building and maintaining strong relationships with key business, financial, policy, and technology press.<br /> • Craft compelling narratives and messaging around Spotify's local, regional, and global business strategies and objectives for safety, privacy, and security.<br /> • Proactively identify critical issues to Spotify's business operations, brand, and reputation.<br /> • Reactively manage time-sensitive and/or fast-breaking situations and prepare mitigation and response plans.<br /> • Collaborate cross-functionally with several teams across the company at varying levels across regions and markets.<br /> • Monitor and analyze media coverage to provide insights and recommendations.<br /> Who You Are<br /> • You have 6+ years of experience. Experience working in technology, product or media industries on policy and corporate communications preferred.<br /> • You possess a strong understanding of the global media landscape and have established pre-existing relationships with key businesses, tech media, and content creators.<br /> • You have a proven track record of successful media relations and securing high-impact coverage.<br /> • You are strategic, proactive, and results-oriented. You can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment under pressure without sacrificing attention to detail.<br /> • You are a strong collaborator, team player, and self-motivated, independent worker with a hands-on approach and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.<br /> • You have established experience managing multi-layered corporate and sensitive projects.<br /> • You are a strong written and verbal communicator who is fluent in AI tools.<br /> Where You'll Be<br /> This role is based in New York, New York or London, UK<br /> We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home<br /> We ask that you come in 2-3 times per week<br /> The United States base range for this position is $95,594 to $136,563, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave.
