We're seeking a passionate and skilled individual to fill the <strong><em>Prevention Manager (Program Manager II)</em></strong> - position to lead prevention efforts.</p><br><p style="margin:0in;" data-pasted="true"><br></p><p style="margin:0in;margin-left:.25in;">Primary responsibilities of the <strong><em>Prevention Manager (Program Manager II)</em></strong> include:</p><p style="margin:0in;margin-left:.25in;"><br></p><div style="margin:0in;"><ul style="margin-bottom: 3pt; margin-left: 0in;"><li style="margin:0in;">Facilitate community outreach and engagement activities to raise awareness about substance use issues.</li><li style="margin:0in;">Build and maintain partnerships with a variety of interest groups, including schools, law enforcement,</li><li style="margin:0in;">healthcare providers, youth and community coalitions. The manager acts as a liaison and technical expert on substance use prevention.</li><li style="margin:0in;">Educate on evidence-based policies and initiatives that support substance use prevention and promote public health.</li><li style="margin:0in;">Assess community needs to identify substance abuse problems and trends. Develop evidence-based prevention strategies and programs. This includes creating logic models and action plans.</li><li style="margin:0in;">Oversee the execution of prevention programs. This can involve coordinating with schools, community organizations, and government agencies to deliver educational materials and training sessions.</li><li style="margin:0in;">Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of prevention programs. </li><li style="margin:0in;">Analyze data to measure outcomes, assess program impact, and make necessary adjustments to improve results.</li><li style="margin:0in;">Support the development of grant proposals and manage funding to support prevention initiatives.
