Product Owner

<p><span><span>As a Product Owner, you are responsible for maximizing the value of the product and the work of the Delivery Team by clearly expressing Product Backlog items. You are responsible for ordering the items to best achieve goals and missions. You will calculate, measure and track business value, as well as optimize the value of the work the Development Team performs ensuring that the Product Backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all. This will show what the Delivery Team will work on next.  You will ensure the Delivery Team understands items in the Product Backlog to the level needed.</span></span></p> <p><span><span><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></span></span></p> <ul> <li><span><span>Develop and explicitly communicate the Product Goal</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Manage and maintain a transparent product backlog, re-evaluate customer product needs and continually balance priorities of the product across maintenance and strategic initiatives</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Review product features as they are developed, providing feedback and guidance.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Participate as a member of the Agile Team, attend Scrum Events, and is responsible for defining epics and stories including Acceptance Criteria and Definition of Done</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Interacts with a diverse set of stakeholders, including Senior Management, business and technology teams, customers, suppliers, and external partners</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Represent the needs of many stakeholders in the Product Backlog and work directly with delivery teams as the voice of the customer</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Drive cohesion across the team but focus efforts on the desired features, while ensuring that each team member is able to contribute to the product’s goals</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Provide clear direction and flexibility when priorities change based on user needs and requirements</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Participate in Agile SDLC activities, including planning, refinement, stand-ups and retrospectives. Provide support to manage iteration planning and refinement of user stories. Spotlight inter-dependencies among cross-product development teams to ensure seamless delivery</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Collaborate with other POs, and Product Executives to ensure the vision of the product is being met and that the product backlog is aligned with the program backlog</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Coordinate closely with the Product Executive to ensure alignment with the Outcome Based Product Roadmap and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Serve as a thought leader for a specific business and technology team and assists other leaders with the delegation of work assignments</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Embody the Scrum Values: Openness, Respect, Courage, Commitment and Focus</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Be “The Ideal Team Member” – Hungry, Humble, and Smart. </span></span></li> </ul> <p><span><span><strong>Qualifications:</strong></span></span></p> <ul> <li><span><span>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field, or equivalent, relevant work experience required.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>6 or more years’ experience as a Product Owner with Agile facilitation background, working in an agile environment (e.g. user stories, iterative development, scrum teams, sprints, personas)</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Ability to write clear precise Scrum user stories for scrum teams</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Must have a bias for action and be comfortable in an ever changing or ambiguous environment</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks such as SAFe or Scrum@Scale</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Product Innovation, Design thinking and/or CX/UX experience is a plus</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Advanced Agile/ Scrum development background</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Familiarity in working in a SaaS environment</span></span></li> <li><span><span>PSM/PSPO OR SAFe POPM certifications preferred</span></span></li> </ul> <br>This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements. <div> <br> </div> For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents.
