Production Line Worker - Day & Night Shift

The Food Production Line Worker is responsible for performing various tasks in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, including food preparation, packaging, inspection, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. This role ensures that products meet quality specifications and are produced efficiently in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Day Shift Hours: 7am - 7pm Monday - Friday and occasional weekends
Night Shift Hours: 7pm - 7am Monday - Friday and occasional weekends


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production line equipment safely and efficiently
  • Assemble, process, and package food products according to specifications
  • Inspect products for quality, defects, and compliance with standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and safety procedures (including PPE usage)
  • Assist with line changeovers and equipment setup as needed
  • Accurately label, pack, and palletize finished products
  • Report equipment malfunctions, product issues, or safety concerns to supervisors
  • Meet daily production goals and efficiency standards
  • Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, or warehouse environments preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, repetitive environment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for long periods (8–12 hours)
  • Frequent lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs
  • Repetitive hand and arm movements
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures (hot, cold, or refrigerated environments)

Work Environment

  • Food manufacturing facility with exposure to noise, machinery, and food ingredients
  • May require working weekends, overtime, and flexible shifts
  • Must follow strict hygiene and safety standards
