Project Pursuit Manager (m/w/d)

<p><span>This role will be responsible for developing and growing Emerson control systems/software and asset management in the DACH region by building a solid pipeline within new markets and strategic industries. This position will be involved in all phases, from cold canvas to contractual awards and their handover to our project execution organization. </span></p> <p><span>They will focus on the South DACH region (Austria in particular).</span></p> <div>   </div> <div> <strong>In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:</strong> </div> <div> <ul> <li>Achieving and exceeding sales, bookings and gross profit targets for the Systems and Software Group’s products, services, and solutions.</li> <li>Approach customers with a consultative and value-based approach to understand customer expectations and business drivers and convert these into sales and business results.</li> <li>Seek new opportunities to sell assigned products, solutions and services to new customers.</li> <li>Work in the core of our DACH sales strategy by building a strong pipeline within new markets and strategic industries.</li> <li>Build credibility for him/herself and the company that enables him/her to forge strong relationships that enable him/her to obtain an insider’s perspective on the customer’s business.</li> <li>Identify expansion and green field projects early in the development cycle and if appropriate involve the Global Project Pursuit team to maximize the chance to win.</li> <li>Drive project sales of Emerson Control Systems, Software and Solutions to new and existing customers in DACH.</li> <li>Proactively look for growth opportunities to increase Emersons participation in the industry. </li> <li>Negotiate with Customers Business Contracts within the agreed Delegation of Authority including discount, price, and volume structures.</li> <li>Maximize both “face –to-face” and other remote communication possibilities (phone, mail etc.) with customers and leverage our Inside Sales and Operations team to execute activities.</li> <li>Cooperate closely with the existing Emerson sales force and business development team to exploit the potential synergies in the best possible way.</li> <li>Provide competitive, technical and commercial input for each proposal.</li> <li>Deliver an accurate order forecast through CRM to give visibility to future business.</li> </ul> </div> <div>   </div> <div> <strong>Who You Are:</strong> </div> <div> <p>You gain insight into customer needs.
