About the Role

This is a senior-level, phone-based acquisitions role based in Tampa, FL, working primarily Monday through Friday with occasional weekend hours based on lead flow.


You will receive qualified, warmed outbound marketing leads and guide them through our proven investment sales process, building trust, uncovering motivation, handling objections, and securing signed purchase and sale agreements. This is a closer's role. You own the deal from the first conversation to the executed contract.


Once fully ramped and consistently hitting performance targets, top performers will have a growth opportunity to expand into team management and select dispositions responsibilities: including managing retail listings and direct-to-investor outreach channels; increasing earning potential and deal cycle ownership. These are future growth tracks, not a day-one expectation.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary + Uncapped Commissions: $100,000 – $120,000 Year 1 (W2) Commission tied to closed deal profitability Flexible time off policy Hybrid role based in Tampa, FL (Monday–Saturday) Compensation:

Responsibilities: Guide qualified leads through our structured land acquisition sales process from first call to signed contract Underwrite properties against our buy-box criteria and present clear, confident offer structures Uncover seller motivations, timelines, and deal blockers through consultative, solution-based conversations Negotiate terms, handle objections, and close with precision, including reluctant or slow-moving sellers Secure electronically executed purchase and sale agreements and all required documentation Maintain accurate pipeline stages, call notes, and follow-up tasks in the CRM daily Execute consistent, disciplined follow-up with active, warm, and long-term prospects Report recurring objections, seller patterns, and market insights to leadership Represent The Zeres Group with professionalism, integrity, and high communication skills

Hit closing percentage benchmarks on qualified opportunities Keep CRM fully updated daily - pipeline stages, notes, and next steps Maintain disciplined follow-up with every active and long-term prospect Communicate proactively with leadership on deal opportunities and challenges Continuous training to sharpen underwriting, negotiation, and objection-handling
Qualifications:

You Might Be a Fit If You:

At least 3 years of direct real estate investment acquisitions experience; land experience is a strong plus Have a proven track record of closing high-ticket, high-volume deals over the phone Can underwrite properties, comp values, and evaluate deal viability independently Are an expert at objection handling and can close reluctant, slow-moving, or skeptical sellers Manage a high-volume pipeline with strong CRM discipline and daily accountability Thrive in a performance-driven environment and hold yourself to metrics Are comfortable with autonomy but collaborate well when leadership and support are needed Live within commuting distance of Tampa, FL, and have your own computer and headset setup
