As a certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRS), you’ll support justice-involved individuals on their recovery journey—offering encouragement, building trust, and helping them navigate the barriers that stand between them and lasting wellness. Your lived experience with recovery will be a powerful asset in building authentic, hope-filled relationships with clients who may be navigating complex health, behavioral, and social challenges.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Schedule & Location</strong></p><p>This is a full-time, remote position, Monday through Friday. Some evening availability may be needed to accommodate client needs across time zones.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p><ul><li>Build trusting, nonjudgmental relationships with clients based on shared lived experience</li><li>Use personal recovery experience to offer hope, motivation, and accountability</li><li>Collaborate with participants and the Holon care team to develop personalized recovery plans</li><li>Connect clients to community resources (e.g., housing, healthcare, employment, transportation)</li><li>Conduct strengths-based assessments to identify client needs and goals</li><li>Advocate for clients within the justice system, care system, and other relevant environments</li><li>Partner with Care Navigators, clinicians, and judicial points of contact for integrated care</li><li>Stay informed on best practices in peer support and recovery-based care</li><li>Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA standards</li><li>Contribute to new initiatives and engagement strategies as assigned</li></ul><p>Requirements</p><h3><strong>What You Bring to the Table</strong></h3><ul><li>A person in sustained recovery with at least one year of lived experience (strongly preferred)</li><li>Certified as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRS) or Peer Recovery Coach</li><li>Deeply empathetic, with strong listening and communication skills</li><li>Knowledgeable about the realities of recovery and the barriers clients may face</li><li>Committed to maintaining professional boundaries and ethical standards</li><li>Comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced, team-based environment</li><li>Aligned with Holon’s values of equity, inclusion, and whole-person care</li></ul><h3><strong>Education & Experience</strong></h3><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred</li><li>Certification as a Peer Recovery Coach or PRS<strong> </strong><u><strong>in the state of Arizona</strong></u> (national certification from an accredited agency like NAADAC is also accepted)</li><li>1–2 years in a peer support role is strongly preferred</li><li>Lived experience or close connection to someone in recovery is strongly valued</li><li>Experience working with justice-involved populations is a plus</li></ul><p><strong>The Holon Way</strong></p><p>We’re not just building a better model of care—we’re building a better workplace.
