This role owns key customer relationships, drives distribution, and leads broker partners across the region. Experience with the following accounts: UNFI, AWG, Market Basket, Big Y, Wegmans, AHOLD, Tops/Price Chopper, Giant Eagle.</span></p></div><div><p></p></div><div><p><span>Actively manage and grow our business at our direct accounts through regular merchant interaction, solid promotion and business planning, assortment and merchandising improvements.</span></p></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Lead and manage your broker network for maximum performance in distribution gains, promotional effectiveness and efficiency, assortment and merchandising.</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Collaborate with in-house insights team to create compelling, fact-based sales presentations that effectively position Built to attain and hold new distribution.</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Collaborate with Dir-Marketplaces to ensure customers’ owned marketplaces are optimized and growing.</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Where appropriate, develop joint business plans that include merchandising and shopper plans that grow Built’s market share and category growth.</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Leverage analytical tools to perform robust account analysis and be able to take action on insights you uncover.</span></p></li></ul></div><div><p></p></div><div><p><span><strong>The Skills – The Ideal Candidate</strong></span></p></div><div><p><span>You should have 5+ years of selling experience in CPG, preferably food, including both direct and brokered selling. You must be comfortable drawing insights from data and be able to craft a narrative to support our brand’s initiatives. You will be a self-starter with demonstrated achievements in a fast-growth environment.</span></p></div><div><div><ul><li><p><span>Proven track record of growing distribution and dollar sales at 30%+ while managing trade spend</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Experience selling to Northeast and/or midwest Grocer accounts required, preference for those with experience in Natural as well</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Very strong presentation and communication skills, including PPT</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Intensely goal and KPI-driven, creative problem solver</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Track record of taking initiative in ambiguity</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Excellent organization skills</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>At least 3 years of experience managing brokers with examples of improving their effectiveness</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Solid skills in Nielsen, IRI, SPINS or other similar syndicated data.
