[Remote] Inside Sales Consultant Livestock, Poultry & Dairy Division

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. IDEXX is focused on the Livestock, Poultry & Dairy division and is seeking an Inside Sales Consultant. The role involves generating demand, qualifying sales leads, and maintaining relationships with customers in the Animal Health industry.


Responsibilities

  • You will qualify marketing generated leads and generate your own leads for new customers and new business for Livestock, Poultry and Dairy products and Lab services
  • You will sell the value of, and close, the IDEXX LPD rapid assay portfolio, including SNAP BVD, Milk Residue and Alertys Ruminant Pregnancy Tests
  • You will set up Onsite and Bovine Laboratory demo appointments for aligned field-based, Livestock Diagnostic Specialists with qualified Veterinarian and Producer customers
  • You will build, manage, and document a sales and lead pipeline through Salesforce.com
  • You will establish credibility among customers through demonstration of product knowledge and a consultative sales approach
  • Work effectively with leadership & cross-functional teams to ensure success & optimal customer experience
  • You will gain experience working with a diverse group of customers in the Animal Health industry

Skills

  • 3+ years of inside sales experience
  • Experience in Diagnostics, Animal Health/Veterinary, and/or Agriculture field(s)
  • Bilingual in both English and Spanish
  • Consistent high performer with demonstrated success
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • An entrepreneurial spirit to learn and grow as the organization grows
  • Strong active listening skills and ability to ask follow-up questions
  • Highly effective verbal and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Capability to absorb and articulate technical information in a precise manner
