[Remote] Sr Learning Technology Spec

The Senior Learning Technology Specialist collaborates with global Learning & Development partners to deliver effective, scalable learning experiences across the TJX learning ecosystem, supporting the planning, administration, and optimization of systems, tools, content, and events.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for Workday Learning administration, including creating and maintaining courses and programs, managing learners, curating content, reporting, and improving the end-user experience
  • Support and help drive the transition from SuccessFactors Learning to Workday Learning, including system readiness activities, content and process alignment, documentation of lessons learned, and knowledge sharing
  • Coordinate, prioritize, execute, and administer learning technology projects from the LMS intake queue and as assigned by the Learning Technology Manager
  • Manage LMS-related tasks that support broader enterprise initiatives, ensuring alignment with timelines, priorities, and agreed-upon standards
  • Administer and support instructor-led training (ILT), virtual instructor-led training (VILT), and e-learning experiences, including integrations with platforms such as Microsoft Teams
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of industry best practices; help drive organizational adoption of new and existing tools and technologies
  • Actively participate in and contribute to the Learning Community of Practice, supporting a collaborative forum for shared learning, decision-making, and continuous improvement
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and peer enablement by contributing system insights, best practices, and practical guidance related to Workday Learning configuration and usage
  • Enable consistent and effective adoption of learning technology standards and best practices by coaching and supporting regional and departmental administrators
  • Partner with learning stakeholders to align system configuration, content publishing approaches, and operating practices with agreed-upon principles and user experience goals
  • Develop, maintain, and share enablement assets including job aids, workflows, process documentation, and training materials to promote clarity, consistency, and scalability
  • Promote effective reuse of existing tools, content, and system capabilities before introducing or procuring new solutions
  • Leverage Workday Learning reporting to provide insights that support alignment, inform decisions, and identify opportunities to improve learning effectiveness
  • Lead and/or support QA, UAT, and end-user testing cycles for Workday Learning enhancements, integrations, and learning technology initiatives
  • Partner with HRIS, IT, vendors, and learning partners to research, test, and implement new Workday Learning features and related tools
  • Continuously evaluate system usage, stakeholder feedback, and industry trends to recommend improvements that enhance learner experience and operational efficiency

Skills

  • 3+ years of experience administering enterprise Learning Management Systems (LMS). Global audience experience preferred
  • Hands-on experience with Workday Learning, including system administration, e-learning and virtual/instructor-led training management, reporting, and user support
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize complex, project-based LMS work
  • Experience managing and testing Workday Learning releases, updates, and upgrades
  • Demonstrated independent problem-solving skills related to learning systems, tools, and content
  • Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and influencing skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of SCORM/AICC standards and their impact on tracking and reporting
  • Working knowledge of e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, and multimedia solutions such as Vyond and WellSaid Labs
  • Experience supporting learning ecosystems that include ServiceNow, SharePoint, or similar enterprise tools
  • Experience working with globally distributed stakeholders and learner populations
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles, instructional design, or learning operations is a plus
