<p style="text-align:left"><b>Position Title:</b></p>Risk Services Executive<p></p><p><b>Salary Range: </b></p>Risk Services Executive (Grade 15, Exempt). Annual salary range: $86,560 – $108,200. This range reflects the minimum to midpoint of the grade. Salary may exceed the midpoint and will commensurate with experience.<br><br>Senior Risk Services Executive (Grade 16, Exempt). Annual salary range: $99,200 – $124,000. This range reflects the minimum to midpoint of the grade. Salary may exceed the midpoint and will commensurate with experience.<p></p><p><b>Job Description Summary:</b></p>The Risk Services Executive is responsible for generating revenue by representing Sourcewell’s Risk Services solutions. This position is directly responsible achieving profit and margin goals by managing risk pools served and generating fees by administrating risk pools. This position will develop and execute on plans to engage with new pools, increase membership in pools, and drive growth in Risk Services. This position will occasionally represent Sourcewell at internal and external meetings.<p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p><p></p><p>Actively manage the Risk Services business unit to achieve P&L goals.</p><ul><li><p>Develop and execute on business plans to drive growth of the Risk Services business unit with guidance.</p></li><li><p>Launch new Risk Services solutions and onboard new clients and partners.</p></li><li><p>Develop and deliver insurance renewals and proposals from underwriting, actuarial review, and final insurance premium development with guidance.</p></li><li><p>Support membership governance to make informed decisions regarding financial positions, wellness programs, renewals, premium development and other considerations</p></li><li><p>With guidance, develop and employ risk management strategies to improve and grow solutions, meet our financial goals, and provide high quality service to members.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with awarded contract terms and with all internal and external regulatory requirements.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Manage relationships with customers (i.e. suppliers, members, administrators, partners, brokers, and insurance agents.)</p><ul><li><p>Establish and maintain strong working relationships with all appropriate levels of customers to support our goals in a cost-effective manner.</p></li><li><p>With guidance, develop and execute on account management strategies to provide high touch customer service with a high level of attention to detail.</p></li><li><p>Manage and deliver training on how to best for sell Sourcewell solutions through various in-person and virtual methods.</p></li><li><p>Ensure that accurate information about Sourcewell solutions is effectively communicated and embraced by the supplier sales management team, dealers, and sales representatives.</p></li><li><p>Manage the process of supporting suppliers in developing marketing strategies and material to promote market segment, category, and contract growth.</p></li><li><p>Occasionally attend and present at tradeshows, conferences, internal supplier events and Sourcewell organized events to drive growth of Risk Services and increase awareness of Sourcewell and our solutions.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Capture and develop Voice of Customer insights from and for members, administrators, partners, brokers, and insurance agents.)</p><ul><li><p>Manage the process of capturing insights from all of our customers about current and future trends in the industry, general market, and potential clients.</p></li><li><p>Represent suppliers to internal Sourcewell teams to establish strategies, focus Government Relations efforts, enhance procurement processes, and improve other procedures to ensure that our internal efforts allow for sustained growth of contract sales.</p></li><li><p>Support the Category Development team by providing them with insight about current or future categories, suppliers, and agency needs.</p></li><li><p>Manage relationships with industry consultants, associations, and publications.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Represents the Risk, Benefits, and Insurance team at internal meetings and participants in the annual planning process.</p><p></p><p>Other duties as assigned.</p><p></p><p><b>Additional Job Description:</b></p><p>Required <span>Qualifications</span></p><ul><li><p>Associate's degree in a related field AND 2 years of demonstrated experience with health care plans, insurance sales management, P&L management. business development, or other directly related experience,<br>OR<br>A combination of related post-secondary and/or professional education/training and demonstrated relevant work experience equivalent to a total of four (4) years</p></li><li><p>Public speaking or sales presentation experience. Business process and operational knowledge in sales, customer service, supply chain, and/or procurement Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills</p></li></ul><p></p><p><span>In addition to the above, the </span><u>Senior Risk Services Executive</u><span> required qualifications include:</span></p><ul><li><p><u>Bachelor’s degree</u> in a related field of study AND four (4) years of demonstrated experience with health care plans, insurance sales management, P&L management. business development, or other directly related experience <br>OR<br>A combination of related post-secondary and/or professional education/training and demonstrated relevant work experience equivalent to a total of eight (8) years</p></li><li><p><u>Two (2) years</u> of public speaking and/or sales presentation experience</p></li><li><p>Business process and operational knowledge in sales, customer service, supply chain, and/or procurement</p></li><li><p>Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills</p></li><li><p><u>Two (2) years </u>of sales experience</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Preferred <span>Qualifications</span></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree in a related field</p></li><li><p>Four (4) years demonstrated experience with health care plans, insurance sales management, P&L management. business development, or other directly related experience</p></li><li><p>Two (2) or more years of public speaking and/or sales presentation experience</p></li><li><p>Two (2) or more years of business process and operational knowledge in sales, customer service, supply chain, and/or procurement</p></li><li><p>Sales experience</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Preference will be given to candidates who possess a Minnesota Health Insurance License.</p><p></p><p><u>Location:</u></p><ul><li><p>This is a remote position but does <b>require seasonal frequent travel throughout Minnesota</b>.</p></li><li><p>On occasion, may be asked to travel to Staples, MN for meetings, professional development or team activities.
