Proactively communicate needs and problems to Store Personnel and Line of Business Specialists, as needed.</li><li>Handle day-to-day customer needs including diagnosing customer problems, providing customer quotes, taking customer orders, coordinating order logistics, sourcing and monitoring order fulfillment via phone.</li><li>Develop deep and lasting relationships with customer personnel via phone</li><li>May manage a small book of business. Responsible for growing gross margin in book of business year-over-year.</li><li>Leverage solution-focused sales tools and processes to maximize growth with assigned accounts.</li><li>Maintain high level of customer satisfaction with assigned accounts.</li><li>Maintain appropriate professional and technical industry knowledge.</li><li>Partner with leadership and Field Support to understand the impact of emerging technologies and ways of working on business performance, and actively support and lead their implementation.</li><li>Ensure that customers are aware of and fully utilizing all of SiteOne’s capabilities including SiteOne University, vendor support, and Partner’s Program.</li><li>Leverage CRM tools to manage account activity, track opportunities, document customer interactions, and report on pipeline and performance</li><li>Create<strong> </strong>Material Take-Off (MTO) estimates from landscape and irrigation plans and drawings</li><li>Review blueprints, designs, and specifications to determine required materials</li><li>Support contractors and customers with project planning and product solutions</li></ul> <br><strong>Skills We Are Seeking</strong><br><br><ul><li>1-3 years of customer service or sales support experience preferred</li><li>Knowledge of trends in the green industry. Familiarity with landscape, nursery, forestry, and/or irrigation products preferred</li><li>Proven knowledge of the sales cycle and solution selling techniques</li><li>Ability to effectively leverage CRM tools to organize accounts, manage opportunities, and drive consistent sales execution</li><li>Strong math and calculation skills for estimating quantities and costs</li><li>3+  years’ experience in landscaping, irrigation, construction supply, or estimating</li><li>Experience working with contractors or project-based sales environments</li><li>Ability to communicate value proposition and differentiate SiteOne's products and services using professional presentation skills</li><li>Must possess strong communication, organizational, time management, and negotiation skills</li><li>Ability to think quickly and make decisions</li><li>Must be proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)</li><li style="margin-left: 0in;">Ready and willing to learn and adopt, and encourage others to learn and adopt, new technologies and ways of working</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent required</li><li>College degree preferred</li></ul><p style="margin: 0px;"> </p> <p style="margin: 0px;"><strong>Compensation & Benefits</strong><br>SiteOne offers a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to support the well-being of our associates.
