Senior Analyst

Overview We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join Human Digital; our data and insights team focused on online harms. As Senior Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering research relating to online terrorism, violent extremism, and radicalisation to clients across government, law enforcement, and regulation. Reporting to and line-managed by the Research Manager, you will both conduct and write-up OSINT investigations and use your in-depth subject knowledge on terrorism and violent extremism to help the team deliver data-led evidence and produce clear, actionable reports.<br>The Role The Senior Analyst will deliver a monthly report, contribute to and maintain critical datasets, and apply quantitative and qualitative research methods on ad-hoc projects covering a range of cross-harm and convergent harm types relevant to terrorism, violent extremism, and radicalisation. You will compile evidence, provide data-led analysis, and support the Research Manager in producing clear, actionable reports.<br>The role is ideal for someone wanting to further develop their knowledge on online terrorism, violent extremism, and radicalisation, use their OSINT skills to investigate open-source spaces, work with external specialists and academics across disciplines, develop evidence-led threat risk reporting, and manage and collate datasets. The role will require exposure to harmful content, including terrorism and violent extremism, violence fascination, and serious organised crime.<br>What youll do Conduct OSINT investigations into online harms.<br>Manage and maintain critical datasets of multi-modal content.<br>Analyse qualitative and quantitative data to produce data-led and clearly evidenced insights.<br>Write clear, well-structured reports integrating quantitative data into analysis.<br>Pull out the key findings most relevant to our clients and the research briefs.<br>What you will bring Some experience in threat analyst experience<br>OSINT research experience<br>Quantitative analysis experience<br>Demonstrable knowledge of UK legislation relevant to online harms (incl. the Online Safety Act and Terrorism Act)<br>Demonstrable knowledge of terrorism, violent extremism, and non-ideological violence.<br>What you get A competitive salary and benefits package that includes 27 days holiday per year, pension contributions, private healthcare, discounted dental insurance, enhanced maternity/parental leave, plus a whole host of others including:<br>Cultural stimulation allowance - £250 per person per year<br>Half days off before Salary: GBP 50000 - 60000 per year
