About The Role 

We are looking for a Senior Bid Manager who combines strategic thinking with a strong delivery focus. You will lead and deliver public and private sector bids — shaping bid strategy, drafting and elevating the overall quality of every submission.

You will work across multiple opportunities, collaborating with technical, commercial, and delivery teams to produce compelling, high-impact bids and proposals. A key focus will be on public sector opportunities, where you will help position Agile for continued success across frameworks and strategic programmes.

Your Responsibilities 

  • Lead Agile’s bid management function reporting into Director for Public Sector
  • Support wider presales activities, contributing to early-stage opportunity shaping, solution positioning, and client engagement
  • Own and deliver bids end-to-end, from qualification through to submission and post-bid review
  • Develop clear bid strategies aligned to client needs and business objectives
  • Shape and write high-quality, persuasive proposal content, particularly for critical and complex sections
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, timely submissions
  • Translate complex technical and commercial inputs into clear, client-focused messaging
  • Manage multiple concurrent bids, ensuring deadlines, governance, and quality standards are met
  • Ensure submissions are compliant, competitive, and clearly differentiated
  • Analyse bid outcomes and continuously improve win rates and bid quality
  • Evolve the bid function, including processes, tools, templates, and the adoption of AI-driven solutions, to improve efficiency, quality, and consistency

About You 

  • Proven track record of securing complex, high-value bids
  • Strong experience in both writing and managing bids, with the ability to produce high-quality content under pressure in short turnaround time
  • Understanding of public sector procurement processes and evaluation criteria
  • Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on in delivery
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and stakeholder management capability
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of what drives winning bids
  • Experience in digital consultancy industry
  • Working in UK public sector frameworks (e.g. G-Cloud, Digital Outcomes & Specialists, Technology Services 4)
  • Developing tailored solutions unique to every bid and proposal differing Agile from competitors
  • Experience in data, AI, analytics, or digital consultancy services
  • Experience in developing proposals involving licensed technology solutions (e.g. Informatica, Semarchy), ensuring accurate positioning, pricing alignment, and clear articulation of value
