The business is PE-backed and at an exciting inflection point; a significant AI-native product launch is underway and the business has a clear exit trajectory over the coming years. It is a rich, complex data environment with thousands of customers and hundreds of thousands of transactions.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>This is a Senior Data Analyst hire sitting within the Finance team, reporting to the Manager of Data Analytics. You will own the company's core financial data products (ARR, Bookings, and Revenue cubes), serve as the internal financial data subject matter expert, and support senior leadership across Finance, Accounting, Sales, and Support.</p><p><br></p><p>This role demands genuine SQL depth and a strong grasp of SaaS financial metrics; it is not a dashboard-refreshing position. The ideal candidate writes sophisticated queries, understands the financial story behind the numbers, and has the curiosity to surface the "why" within complex datasets.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Own and maintain core financial data products including the ARR, Bookings, and Revenue cubes</li><li>Develop dbt/SQL pipelines to automate accounting workflows, track financial KPIs, and deliver scalable analytical data products</li><li>Analyse ARR, billing, and revenue data to generate actionable insights for senior leadership</li><li>Build and maintain dashboards, visualisations, and ad hoc reports that surface key business trends</li><li>Write, test, execute, and troubleshoot queries across multiple data sources</li><li>Serve as the internal financial data subject matter expert, partnering with Finance, Accounting, Sales, and Support</li><li>Recommend improvements to data strategy and architecture at a senior level</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Experience</strong></p><ul><li>3-5 years writing production-grade SQL for complex data pipelines, reporting, and analytics</li><li>Hands-on experience with dbt (or a demonstrable ability to adopt it quickly)</li><li>Experience supporting Finance and Accounting teams in a data capacity</li><li>Strong understanding of SaaS financial metrics (ARR, churn, LTV, revenue modelling)</li><li>Proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker</li><li>Ability to translate complex data and queries for non-technical stakeholders</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Desirable Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with Snowflake and/or Salesforce</li><li>Python and Databricks exposure</li><li>Background in fintech or SaaS</li><li>Experience building agents to automate analytics workflows</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Salary: </strong>$120,000 - $140,000</p><p><strong>Location: </strong>Fully remote (East Coast, US preferred)</p><p><strong>Benefits:</strong> Full healthcare premiums covered, 401k match, unlimited PTO, WFH budget</p><p><br></p><p><em>At Harmonic, we are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace.
