The Senior Director, IT is responsible for the strategic oversight and operational management of strategic vendors, including the IT Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and their contracts. This leader ensures that external IT services align with organizational goals, deliver value, and comply with regulatory and contractual requirements. The role involves vendor relationship management, contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement of outsourced IT services and key strategic technology <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">partners.   </span> You’ll get to:  </p><p></p><p><b>Strategic Partnership & Planning:</b></p><ul><li>Develop and execute strategies for sourcing, onboarding, and managing MSPs to support IT operations and business objectives.</li><li>Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and compliance reviews for all IT service agreements.</li><li>Provide training and guidance to IT Capability leaders and Service Owners to ensure the effective implementation of strategies. </li><li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess business needs, define requirements, and ensure MSP solutions are fit-for-purpose.</li><li>Drive innovation and efficiency by evaluating new technologies and service models in partnership with IT Capability leaders and Service Owners</li><li>Monitor technology outsourcing trends, vendor market shifts, and emerging solutions. Recommend vendors and innovative approaches to support business goals.</li><li>Report regularly to executive leadership on MSP performance, risks, and opportunities.</li></ul><p><b>Vendor Relationship Management:</b></p><ul><li>Establish, nurture, and manage relationships with key technology vendors and service providers. Lead high value negotiations and oversee contract management to secure favorable terms and high-quality delivery.</li><li>Oversee the selection, relationship management, contract negotiation and management, performance monitoring, and compliance of Managed Service Providers, ensuring their services align with organizational goals and standards and focus on continuous improvements</li><li>Manage the team of resources responsible for the daily contract operations.</li></ul><p><b>Performance Management:</b></p><ul><li>Define and track vendor performance metrics, service level agreements (SLAs), and key performance indicators (KPIs). Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure accountability.</li><li>Provide framework for supplier performance reviews and develop corrective action strategies as needed</li></ul><p><b>Risk and Compliance Management:</b></p><ul><li>Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to vendor engagements. Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and cybersecurity standards.</li></ul><p><b>Financial Management:</b></p><ul><li>Experience in strategic planning and portfolio management, budgeting and financial reporting.</li><li>Partner with Finance to manage budgets, forecasts and cost optimization initiatives related to outsourced IT services.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>The Person: </b> </p><p>You love to learn and grow and be acknowledged for your valuable contributions.
