Senior Engineer – Land Development & Municipal Engineering As a Senior Engineer in our Land Development & Municipal Engineering team, you will lead a high‑performing group of professionals delivering complex civil projects that have a tangible impact for clients, municipalities, and growing communities. You will guide technical excellence, strengthen client partnerships, and unlock new opportunities for growth while contributing to a collaborative, flexible workplace that supports your well‑being and development.

Responsibilities

Lead the strategic direction, delivery, and performance of Land Development & Municipal Engineering projects across Kamloops and surrounding regions.

Drive business development efforts by identifying new opportunities, deepening client relationships, and preparing winning proposals.

Oversee project execution, ensuring technical excellence, quality, schedule, and financial targets are achieved.

Shape team capacity by managing resources, balancing workloads, and enabling collaboration across BC offices and disciplines.

Develop and mentor a growing team of engineers, technologists, and support staff through clear development plans and strong people leadership.

Champion operational performance by monitoring KPIs, optimizing processes, and creating a culture of accountability and high performance.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary leaders to deliver integrated project solutions that set new standards for innovation and client value.

Advance a culture of inclusion, respect, and continuous improvement across the department.

Qualifications and Skills

You are a registered P.Eng. in BC with deep technical and leadership experience in municipal or land development engineering.

You bring 10+ years of progressive engineering and project management experience, including complex design and construction delivery.

You have 5+ years of leading and developing technical teams, with a proven ability to inspire, coach, and elevate performance.

You have a track record of building strong client relationships and securing new business opportunities.

Navigate multidisciplinary environments confidently and leverage expertise to deliver solutions that move communities forward.

You bring strong financial acumen and consistently achieve operational and project performance goals.

You thrive in a fast‑paced environment where you balance multiple priorities without compromising quality.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT:

$122,900 - $162,800

MB & ON:

$112,100 - $154,400

NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC:

$111,000 - $147,400
