If you’re passionate about improving patient care through technology, this is the place for you.</p> <h4><strong>About the Role</strong></h4> <p>As a <strong>Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A</strong>, you will play a key role on the Finance team. You will be joining a well established FP&A function that is at the heart of strategic decision making.  This role will involve the development of the FP&A function in a manner that provides real time insights to senior leadership and has the ability to scale with the growth of the organization. Key responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li aria-level="1">Provide primary support for the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts from data collection, developing assumptions and documentation, and report preparation</li> <li aria-level="1">Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports and presentations for senior management to aid in their strategic reviews</li> <li aria-level="1">Assist in the development of new KPIs that are relevant to the organization</li> <li aria-level="1">Analyze current and past trends in KPIs including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures ; identify risks and recommend financial actions</li> <li aria-level="1">Generate other internal management reports including but not limited to profitability reports, actual vs budget for each department, churn, and cash flow forecast</li> <li aria-level="1">Assist with reporting and preparing presentations/packages to stakeholder </li> <li aria-level="1">Aid in the preparation of data rooms, as required</li> <li aria-level="1">Streamline and automate existing processes in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) functions to improve efficiency and meet tight deadlines</li> <li aria-level="1">Review and challenge of business activities, projected outcomes, and key metric assumptions</li> <li aria-level="1">Managing any issues as they arise and ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner</li> <li aria-level="1">Assist and participate on special projects or other duties as necessary</li> <li aria-level="1">Work closely with the financial reporting team to ensure consistency in accounting treatment and cohesiveness between forward and backward looking financial information</li> </ul> <p>You will bring:</p> <ul> <li aria-level="1">A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance</li> <li aria-level="1">CPA or CA designation would be considered an asset </li> <li aria-level="1">5+ years of progressive experience in a finance role in a fast paced environment, with experience in building and improving complex financial models</li> <li aria-level="1">Strong knowledge of business fundamentals and financial acumen</li> <li aria-level="1">Exceptional communication skills and strong interpersonal skills, logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail</li> <li aria-level="1">Ability to solve problems and navigate complexity in a constantly evolving and often ambiguous environment</li> <li aria-level="1">Expert Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to efficiently handle large data sets and concisely present and articulate to management</li> <li aria-level="1">Strategic thinking and ability to drive business initiatives end to end and deliver insights</li> <li aria-level="1">Strong analytical skills, self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented</li> <li aria-level="1">Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines</li> <li aria-level="1">Commitment to working in team-based environments, promoting team effectiveness and contributing to a positive work environment</li> </ul> <p>This is a full-time, remote position with an expected salary range of <strong>$80,000–$100,000 CAD annually</strong>, depending on experience and qualifications. Think Research does not require Canadian work experience for this role.</p> <p>Think Research may use artificial intelligence–enabled tools to support parts of the recruitment process, such as application screening or candidate matching.
