Your Role

We’re looking for someone that’s passionate about fostering a speak up culture and conducting fair, prompt, and comprehensive investigations to join us as a Sr Investigator, Ethics & Compliance at Victoria’s Secret & Co. This is a strategic position within the Ethics & Compliance team that works across all business segments for Victoria’s Secret & Co. The Sr Investigator, Ethics & Compliance will work closely with other members of the Ethics & Compliance team to investigate high level allegations of suspected and reported violations of company policy and the Code of Conduct. This position will report to the Sr Manager, Ethics & Compliance Investigations and will work closely with the Director, Associate Relations, their team, and other internal partners from Legal, HR, Asset Protection, Finance, Internal Audit, and Store Operations, as well as outside counsel.


This is a full-time, remote position that may require domestic travel.


Your Impact

  • Developing investigation plans and conducting investigations, including specific responsibilities such as:

    • Performing intake and analysis of allegations of suspected and/or reported violations of Company policy or the Code of Conduct
    • Gathering background information from relevant partners and resources

    • Collecting and analyzing evidence

    • Conducting investigative interviews with care and empathy
    • Collaborating with key partners (including Legal, HR, Asset Protection, Internal Audit, Store Operations, and outside counsel) during reviews and presentations of investigative findings
    • Writing investigation reports that efficiently and effectively summarize the allegations, investigation effort, and provide support for the determined outcome(s)
    • Conducting root cause analysis and identifying control gaps (e.g., in existing policies or training)
    • Assessing trends and identifying patterns across similar investigations
    • Conducting periodic check-ins with investigation participants, including reporters, to collect feedback on the investigations process and look for any warning signs that might indicate retaliation
    • Exercising and maintaining confidentiality, to the extent possible, consistent with a fair, prompt and thorough investigation
    • Prioritizing while managing multiple complex investigations simultaneously
  • Collaborating with Human Resources, Legal and outside counsel to ensure consistency in Victoria’s Secret & Co.’s investigation process, outcomes, and remediation steps (including any corrective actions)

  • Promoting and supporting a Speak Up culture by embodying our Victoria’s Secret & Co. values

  • Serving as mentor and trainer for other Victoria’s Secret & Co. associates with investigations responsibilities

  • Seeking out continuous improvement opportunities around the investigation process, outcomes, and remediation steps

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Supporting other Ethics & Compliance initiatives, including auditing & monitoring, third-party risk management, photo shoot compliance, compliance training and policy management.

Minimum Salary: $86,800.00
Maximum Salary: $117,600.00

VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience

  • Minimum of 5-7 years HR generalist, HR investigations, or other specialized investigations experience (e.g., law enforcement, military)

  • Experience with and understanding of employment-related laws, regulations, and procedures

  • Demonstrated experience in planning, conducting, and leading investigations, including background research, participant interviews, investigation-related data analysis

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with cross-functional partners

  • Experience with hotline case management systems (e.g., NAVEX EthicsPoint)

  • Strong PC skills and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally if needed

  • Ability and willingness to take on additional responsibilities

  • Bilingual (e.g. Spanish) a plus
