<b>Senior Full Stack Developer Job description</b><br>Laansu has an engaging opportunity for a talented Senior Software Developer to build their career and help save lives on the nation's road infrastructure. The Senior Software Developer will build, and support software products used by the Department of Transportation and the public at large to help ensure the safety of drivers and passengers on public roadways.<br><br>Candidates must be clearable for a <b>Public Trust Position</b> – must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident or is authorized to work in US, who has lived in the US for the more than 3 years.<br><br><b>Responsibilities</b><ul><li>Receive tasks and requirements details from program manager. Analyze the scope of work and provide estimated development timelines.</li><li>Follow agile sprint-based development schedule. Unit test modules prior to handing them off to the Test Team. Assist the Test Team with load/performance/throughput testing where required.</li><li>Peer-review the work of colleagues and provide feedback for improvement. Accept constructive feedback from colleagues and grow your skillset on the job.</li><li>Take notes during meetings, ask questions to obtain clarifications where needed. Document design decisions and technical details.</li><li>Maintain source code version control.</li><li>Lead the team and mentor juniors as needed.
