We do this by being deeply knowledgeable, fully capable, and always dependable, and our associates are the driving force behind this commitment.</p><p></p><p>Responsible for the online merchandising strategy, optimization, execution, and performance for White Cap’s website.  Lead and champion strategies that optimize how customers discover, evaluate, and purchase products across Whitecap.com, while ultimately driving Omni channel's online revenue goals.</p><p></p><p><b>Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities</b></p><p></p><p><b>•</b>Develop and execute scalable digital merchandising strategies that improve product discovery, conversion, and sales. Own the merchandising roadmap, quarterly planning, and communication of priorities to senior leadership. Ensure the roadmap includes a scalable digital merchandising strategy across web and mobile platforms.</p><p><b>•</b>Continuously improve the customer journey and merchandising presentation (taxonomy, navigation, filters, cross-sell/upsell, product detail pages, personalization). Guide conversion-driving merchandising elements throughout the shopping path, including personalization and A/B testing. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of product data across platforms.</p><p><b>•</b>Ensure digital merchandising supports broader business strategies, category initiatives, and promotional plans.  Lead both strategically and operationally—deeply understanding customer needs, product assortment, and digital behaviors.</p><p><b>•</b>Ensure strong cross-functional collaboration.  Work closely with marketing, sales, IT, supply chain, analytics and vendor partners.</p><p><b>•</b>Drive performance and analytics to enhance results. Partner with Analytics to define, track, analyze and action against merchandising KPIs and OKRs. Monitor and analyze performance at the category, product, and experience level. Provide results, insights, and recommendations to executive leadership.</p><p><b>•</b>Establish an innovation culture to champion the introduction of new digital merchandising tools, automation, and platform enhancements by collaborating closely with IT, Product, and cross-functional stakeholders.</p><p><b>•</b>Lead and develop a team of digital merchandising professionals. Build a collaborative, innovative, and test-and-learn culture.</p><p></p><p><b>Nature and Scope</b></p><ul><li><p>Solutions require analysis and investigation.</p></li><li><p>Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience. May recommend/make decisions regarding new programs/initiatives that have significant impact to the business and carry consequences in unsuccessful endeavors.</p></li><li><p>Manages a larger team or multiple small teams through direction of subordinate management and/or supervisory staff.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Work Environment</b></p><ul><li><p>Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.</p></li><li><p>Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.</p></li><li><p>Typically requires overnight travel less than 5% of the time.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Education and Experience</b></p><ul><li><p>Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification.
