We’re excited about what’s next, and we’re looking for others to join us on our journey.</p></div><h3><em><strong>This is a remote role that must be based in the NYC, Boston, Charlotte, or Atlanta metro areas.</strong></em></h3> <h2><strong>The Role</strong></h2> <p>Tines is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineering Manager to develop, grow, and manage a high-performing team of Solutions Engineers in the Eastern US region. The ideal candidate will partner with Sales, Professional Services, and Customer Success teams to build a high-growth business in this strategic region. You will provide guidance and a roadmap to success regarding the implementation of Tines' solutions with new and existing customers while developing and executing impactful regional strategies.</p> <p>The successful candidate is a natural collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where you are developing and executing account strategies, building and mentoring a high-performing team, and collaborating cross-functionally with every area of the organization.</p> <h2><strong>What You Will Be Doing:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Recruit, hire, and develop new solutions engineers and coach them on providing technical expertise to customers through sales presentations, solution designs, demonstrations, and POVs</li> <li>Partner with your Sales Leader counterparts to create a strategic GTM plan for the Eastern US region with clear deliverables, alignment with cross-functional teams, and measurable business outcomes</li> <li>Be a key member of the Eastern US leadership team for Tines with ownership of all pre-sales aspects of the business for the region</li> <li>Participate in success execution as both a player and a coach, performing account activities including opportunity coaching, account strategy, and technical executive sponsorship</li> <li>Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Sales Enablement, Product & Engineering, and the Partnerships teams to create a consistent and scalable customer journey</li> <li>Foster an inclusive and collaborative solutions engineering environment with a culture of coaching, learning, growth, development, and feedback</li> <li>Act as an escalation point for pre-sales technical issues from the field</li> <li>Provide effective technical leadership and direction in customer meetings – sharing technical trends, competitive, and product information</li> </ul> <p> </p> <h2><strong>What You'll Need to Be Successful:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>A strong technical background in automation, security, and traditional integration technologies</li> <li>Prior hands-on experience in solutions engineering or technical pre-sales</li> <li>Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a simple yet comprehensive way to non-technical and technical professionals alike</li> <li>Experience in nurturing the development of highly skilled teams</li> <li>Ability to gain trust across internal and external functional leaders</li> <li>Exceptional communication skills to understand customer needs and navigate to successful outcomes</li> <li>Decision making based on data with a willingness to experiment and iterate</li> <li>Ability to motivate change within customers and internal organization</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Preferred Requirements:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineering leader</li> <li>Track record in building organizations and hiring and training top talent</li> <li>Ability to identify and communicate the business value of technology decisions</li> <li>Experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer within the enterprise software industry</li> <li>A passion for team and team members' success by providing technical guidance and coaching and enabling career development</li> </ul> <p><strong>Target Annual Compensation: $270-285K OTE</strong></p> <p><em>Applicants for this opportunity must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.</em></p> <p>#LI-SW1</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p>At Tines, we’re all about trying new things and taking the leap.
