This role partners closely with cross‑functional leaders and offers strong career growth opportunities for the right candidate.<br><br>The Operations Manager is responsible for leading a multi‑functional operations team, including New Business, Post‑Issue Processing, and Claims. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter with proven leadership experience and strong operational expertise in Annuity and Life Insurance products. They are driven to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in operational processes and procedures and are adept at using multiple systems to manage the timeliness, quality, and accuracy of day‑to‑day transactional work.<br><br>This role will support a startup client, requiring a leader who can provide hands‑on operational expertise, help establish and mature processes, and operate effectively in an evolving environment with limited ambiguity.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li> Lead and develop a multi‑functional operations team across New Business, Post‑Issue Operations, and Claims </li><li> Provide operational leadership and expertise to support a startup client, including standing up processes, controls, and performance management routines </li><li> Drive operational performance, quality outcomes, and SLA adherence </li><li> Partner with peer leaders to deliver overall business and customer experience objectives </li><li> Own the client relationship for all operational areas, including Post‑Issue Processing and Claims </li><li> Establish a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational rigor </li><li> Track performance metrics and proactively address risks and gaps </li><li> Lead effectively in a fast‑paced, scaling environment with changing priorities <br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><strong>Basic Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
