Our team looks for data-driven and fact-based mindsets, engaging and collaborative behaviors, and personal growth-focused professionals.   </p> <p>We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join the Preconstruction Team within the Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) department. This qualified individual would work under the guidance of a Preconstruction Manager to help evaluate the technical feasibility of project opportunities, advancing projects through the development process, and into execution. </p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assess energy storage technologies and site layout options with respect to long-term project performance requirements to deliver maximum potential project value while minimizing execution and operating risks</li> <li>Analyze, assess, and present project technical risks and determination of de-risking solutions</li> <li>Develop project capital and operational cost estimates and milestone schedules to be used in project financial valuation models</li> <li>Provide technical and project management support throughout the development cycle, including site visits, interfacing with third-party consultants, and supporting meetings with local project authorities</li> <li>Support offtake, equipment procurement, as well as engineering and construction contracting activities to move projects towards NTP</li> </ul> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Skills & Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline required</li> <li>Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in technical roles or fields</li> <li>Experience in Power, Energy, Renewables, or BESS with familiarity of industry-specific terminology required</li> <li>Knowledge of value proposition and technical fundamentals of energy storage development</li> <li>Broad knowledge required with preference for additional depth in one or more focus areas</li> <li>Demonstrated success with technical-commercial contract negotiations to support offtake, equipment supply, engineering, and construction agreements</li> <li>Experience reviewing engineering drawings and specifications</li> <li>Experience with AutoCAD</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a cross-functional environment with both technical and non-technical team members who are geographically dispersed</li> <li>Proactive mindset to identify risks or obstacles ahead of time and drive solutions</li> <li>Strong decision-making skills with the ability to analyze complex information and make sound, timely choices aligned with organizational goals</li> <li>Persuasive, clear, and concise writing and presentation skills</li> <li>Intermediate to advanced proficiency in the Microsoft suite of tools and applications including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel</li> <li>Ability and willingness to travel domestically approximately 25% of the time.</li> </ul> <p><span data-ccp-props="{" 201341983":0,"335559740":276}"=""> </span></p> <p><strong>Compensation, Location, and Benefits</strong></p> <p><span class="TextRun SCXW75530381 BCX8" lang="EN-US" data-contrast="none"><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW75530381 BCX8">Highly competitive total compensation from one of North America’s leading energy storage developers, </span><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW75530381 BCX8">owners</span><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW75530381 BCX8"> and operators.
