  • The Senior Principal, Marketing Strategic Finance & Analytics will report to the Director, Marketing Strategic Finance
  • Airbnb is looking for a rockstar finance & analytics individual who can support and evolve our Airbnb’s Strategic Finance & Analytics team
  • This team is responsible for identifying and managing budget, planning and analytics for the Marketing organization
  • Its charter is to evolve our growth strategy across Host and Guest communities
  • The Marketing team is responsible for driving growth of new guests and hosts on the platform by engaging with relevant target audiences through product and performance campaigns (e.g., social, Google)
  • The individual will work with growth marketing, data science, finance, marketing strategy, and product marketing to help evaluate and synthesize analytical insights, perform rigorous financial analysis, develop go-to-market strategies, and drive operational excellence
  • The individual is expected to be a strong cross-functional business partner who has a combination of hands-on analytical skills, financial modeling expertise, business savviness, and the ability to package their insights into strong narratives appropriate for senior executive consumption

  • Investment Approach: Support strategy discussions on spend allocation & pacing between Finance and Marketing leadership
  • Budget Tracking: Partner with Financial Operations to track Marketing media and production budgets in order to inform strategic allocations
  • Target Setting: Establish KPI framework for marketing channels and campaigns. Set and monitor KPI targets, OKRs, and efficiency goals
  • ROI Evaluation: Develop ROI calculation methodologies with DS and Research, and lead holistic campaign reviews - accounting for qualitative and quantitative impacts
  • Reporting: Support weekly reporting needs from Marketing and Hosting orgs as well as quarterly campaign performance reviews
  • Analytical Deep Dives: Conduct deep dives into business trends and drivers of variance. Independently lead data extraction, analysis, visualization, and presentation
