Position Overview

The global Talent Acquisition team drives the momentum of Charles River Associates (CRA). As a Senior Recruiter/Lateral at CRA, you will implement global Talent Acquisition solutions, taking ownership for full-life cycle recruitment, and coordinate day-to-day operational processes. You will report to a Senior Manager and work closely with the Global Talent Acquisition team to drive the momentum of CRA through the acquisition of top talent. Your primary goal is to ensure a first-class experience for candidates and interviewers alike. This is a temporary 6-month position commencing August 1, 2026, covering for a leave.

  • Identify, recruit, and maintain relationships with qualified candidates using various recruiting strategies and provide value in all areas of the search process, including: sourcing experienced and senior hires, candidate research and outreach to passive candidates, and staying connected with passive candidates;
  • Manage multiple hiring efforts simultaneously, working closely with hiring managers to ensure warm and timely interactions with candidates;
  • Understand and market CRA's unique value proposition as an employer, suggest and execute cultivation and brand-building events;
  • Collaborate with Diversity & Inclusion team members to identify events, brand-building opportunities, and targeted outreach opportunities to expand the pool of qualified, diverse candidates;
  • Support reporting and operations through reporting and data analysis to evaluate recruiting efforts, provide data-driven insights on our investments and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and better leverage technology;
  • Identify, research and communicate market trends proactively;
  • Contribute to broader Human Capital projects that support the candidate experience;
  • Coordinate other recruiting activities as needed.

Desired Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or 4 years work experience in lieu of degree;
  • 4-6 years relevant work experience in a full-desk recruiting operation, professional services recruiting experience preferred, but not required;
  • Hands-on experience with sourcing tools and strategies for mid- and senior-level talent.
  • Understanding of sourcing and recruiting diverse talent.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables) preferred; Intermediate skills in Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word;
  • Experience working with an ATS (Greenhouse) desirable;
  • Demonstrated track record of productivity, able to advance tasks with diplomacy and tact, and a willingness to take ownership of work;
  • Strong problem-solving skills, able to find creative solutions without getting flustered, and willing to dig for an answer;
  • Exceptional attention to detail, focused ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with tight turnarounds and appropriate urgency;
  • Good judgment, aware of confidentiality expectations, and use discretion around sensitive information.

Work Location Flexibility

CRA creates a work environment that enables our colleagues to benefit from being together in the office to best deliver on our promise of career growth, mentorship and inclusivity. We currently ask that individuals spend 3 to 4 days a week on average working in the office (which may include traveling to another CRA office), with specific days determined in coordination with your practice or team.

Salary and other compensation

A good-faith estimate of the annual base salary range for this position in the US is $90,000 – $100,000. Starting pay within this range may vary based on factors such as education level, experience, skills, geographic location, market conditions, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is eligible for bonus incentive compensation upon completion of assignment.
