<p><strong>How You'll Support Our Mission</strong></p> <p>As a Senior Staff Technical Program Manager on the Product & Technology team, you will own and rive some o four most complex, cross-functional programs - partnering deeply with engineering, product, and business leaders to deliver outcomes that move the needle for ESO's customers and communities.  You bring technical credibility to earn the trust of engineering teams adn the strategic mindset to shape how we invest and execute at scale.  You don't just manage programs - you make them better. </p> <p><strong>What You'll Be Doing - The Day to Day</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own end-to-end delivery of large-scale, high-complexity technical programs across multiple teams and work-streams, defining program structure, milestones, dependencies, and success metrics - and holding teams accountable to them. </li> <li>Partner deeply with engineering leads to understand technical architectures, constraints, and trade-offs, serving as a thought partner on sequencing, scoping, and feasibility while translating complex technical concepts into clear narratives for non-technical stakeholders. </li> <li>Drive cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Product, Design, Data, Security, and Operations- navigating competing priorities and organizational complexity to keep programs on track. </li> <li>Shape long-term program strategy and roadmap planning by partnering with P&T leadership to inform prioritization, capacity planning, and program sequencing across planning cycles. </li> <li>Identify risks early and drive resolution, keeping senior stakeholders informed with clear, concise communication while continuously improving the tools, processes, and frameworks the team uses to plan and ship. </li> <li>Surface systemic gaps or inefficiencies in how we work and lead initiatives to address them. </li> <li>Act as connective tissue across the P&T organization, identifying dependencies and opportunities that others miss. </li> <li>Facilitate productive decision-making forums, ensuring the right people are in the room and that decisions get made. </li> </ul> <p><strong>Who You Are the Essentials</strong></p> <ul> <li>10+ years of experience in technical program management, engineering, or a related field, with at least 3-4 years at a senior or staff level in a software or technology environment. </li> <li>Strong technical foundation - comfortable discussing system design, infrastructure, APIs, and software development lifecycles, with the credibility to engage as a peer with engineering teams. </li> <li>Proven ability to lead complex, multi-team programs and deliver results without direct authority in a fast-moving environment. </li> <li>Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to adapt your message for engineers, executives, and everyone in between. </li> <li>Experience supporting or leading planning processes such as annual planning, OKRs, or roadmap reviews, with the ability to create clarity in ambiguous situations. </li> </ul> <p><strong>Who You Are - The Desirables (It's a plus if you have): </strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience working in platform, infrastructure, or developer tools organizations. </li> <li>Familiarity with agile, SAFe, or other delivery frameworks at scale.</li> <li>Prior experience as a software engineer or solutions architect. </li> <li>PMP, PgMP, or similar certification.</li> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field. </li> </ul> <div><strong>Benefits & Perks</strong></div> <div><strong> </strong></div> <div>ESO offers a comprehensive suite of benefits to promote health and financial security for our employees and their families.
