Responsibilities The Service Technician t is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing technical equipment used across l operations, photo kiosks, digital signage, and related technology. This role plays a key part in ensuring consistent functionality of equipment, minimal downtime, and a seamless guest experience across retail locations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technician with strong troubleshooting skills, a customer service mindset, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. Install, configure, maintain, and repair technical equipment including POS systems, photo kiosks, printers, monitors, and networked devices. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance across assigned retail locations. Respond promptly to service calls and troubleshoot issues on-site or remotely to minimize operational disruptions. Collaborate with retail staff and supervisors to resolve equipment issues and improve reliability. Maintain service logs, inventory of spare parts, and accurate documentation of completed work. Ensure all equipment is safe, clean, functional, and compliant with company standards. Coordinate with IT, vendors, or third-party support when escalations or specialized repairs are needed. Assist with system upgrades, relocations, and the setup of new retail installations. Train end users on proper use and basic troubleshooting of equipment. Support special events, seasonal activations, or equipment setup for new product launches as required. High school diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years of experience in technical support, field service, or maintenance, preferably in a retail or entertainment environment. Basic knowledge of electronics, computers, and networking principles. Ability to diagnose and repair hardware and software issues with minimal supervision. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods. Valid driver's license and ability to travel between sites as needed.
