All projects will have significant strategic and/or operating importance to the business to which they are assigned.</p><p></p><p>Summer projects may include the following responsibilities:</p><ul><li>• Align with all company safety, training, and quality regulations (i.e. ISO compliance, GLP/GMP requirements, etc.) and procedures.</li><li>• Investigate new methods/technologies and maintain accurate lab notebook to support protection of intellectual property in accordance with relevant Thermo Fisher required standards.</li><li>• Assist in the development and implementation of iFast/AutoScript for semiconductor automation projects</li><li>• Collaborate with the engineering team to determine project requirements and specifications</li><li>• Test and diagnose software and hardware components</li><li>• Provide support for project planning and execution</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Start Date: </b>This internship is set to begin on either May 11th or June 15th, 2026 for a duration of 10-12 weeks – dependent upon student availability per academic calendars.</p><p></p><p><b>Compensation & Relocation: </b>Our undergraduate Research & Development internships offer an hourly rate between $21.50 - $28.75 dependent upon the location you are supporting (aligned to respective cost-of-living guidelines).</p><p></p><p>Additionally, a relocation stipend is offered in the amount of $5000 if necessary. Student must be located 50+ miles away from the physical location of the internship to be eligible for the relocation stipend.</p><p></p><p><b>How will you get here?</b></p><ul><li>• Undergraduate student completing an Engineering or Computer Sciences-related degree between December 2026 and June 2027.</li><li>• 0 years of work experience required; previous related internships preferred.</li><li>• Proven track record of results demonstrating integrity, innovation, involvement, and intensity.</li><li>• Energized through championing change, driven in getting results, and savvy in navigating ambiguity.</li><li>• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence.</li><li>• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills</li><li>• Familiarity with semiconductor automation and programming languages is a plus</li></ul><p></p><p>If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!</p><p></p><p>To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and should not require sponsorship (current or future) for employment visa status.
