Start your journey with E-Therapy today!</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities.</li> <li>Develop individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results and students' needs.</li> <li>Provide direct therapy services to students, targeting areas such as articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills.</li> <li>Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' communication goals in the classroom and other educational settings.</li> <li>Incorporate evidence-based techniques and therapeutic activities into therapy sessions to promote speech and language development.</li> <li>Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to facilitate optimal outcomes.</li> <li>Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information accurately and in a timely manner.</li> <li>Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and provide input regarding students' speech and language needs.</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.</li> <li>Alabama Board of Examiners for SLP License</li> <li>Experience providing speech-language therapy services in a school or pediatric setting.</li> <li>Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric speech-language pathology.</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.</li> <li>Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.</li> <li>Experience in teletherapy or online counseling (preferred).</li> <li>Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and other assistive technology used in speech-language therapy (preferred).</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary</li> <li>Comprehensive health and wellness benefits package</li> <li>Flexible work arrangements</li> <li>Opportunities for professional development and growth</li> <li>Collaborative and supportive work environment</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Equal Opportunity Employer:</strong></p> <p>E-Therapy is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
