<strong>Description<br><br></strong>The Creators team goal is to make Amazon the Earth’s most desired destination for commerce influencers, associates (publishers, bloggers, and more) and their content. We are a team of innovators that tackle difficult problems, and are laser-focused on building and enhancing products and experiences that drive growth for Creators. We own the Creator product suite across Amazon to ensure a cohesive experience, experiment with and align compensation structures, and launch features that reinforce feelings of achievement for Creators in addition to monetary compensation. We seek to strengthen creators’ sense of community, fandom, credibility, and provide positive feedback loops. Our BD team on Creators directly collaborates with strategic customers to build new, industry-specific partnership opportunities that directly impact and transform the way our Creators can partner, create, and earn from us at scale.<br><br>We are seeking a talented, highly motivated, business development leader to engage with Media and Entertainment companies to drive adoption of commerce content tools that enable our customers to discover products they will love on Amazon. This role will be responsible for directly managing key accounts, recruiting and developing new partnerships and representing the needs of these partners across our department and company. As a business development leader for Creators, you will influence and build upon the success we have had with top media properties and creators to drive revenue, new customers and collaborative opportunities with Amazon’s strategic businesses and programs (ex. AWS, Ads). Using your deep knowledge of digital media and a solution-oriented mindset you will collaborate with and influence our product teams to develop innovative integrations which help unlock new opportunities for Amazon and our creators.<br><br>Key job responsibilities<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong>The ideal candidate is a self-starter, is capable of long term strategic vision and short term action, they will have experience leveraging data in their decision making, working with technical products and teams, along with excellent negotiation and relationship building skills. They are highly organized, with a entrepreneurial spirit, and adept at managing ambiguity, constantly inventing on behalf of creators, and embracing a strong growth mindset. The ideal candidate is an excellent oral and written communicator, who leads with data, and takes an analytical approach to business development and decision making. They excel at developing strong relationships and working closely and constructively with external partners. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
