<p>Unison is a global telecom and renewables infrastructure investment firm founded in 2003. We today own 2,200 sites and facilities hosting mission-critical wireless and telecom transmission assets and renewable power generation projects. We own real property or real property interests in the United States and Italy, Spain, France, Germany and Poland. We are growing rapidly and seeking key members of our team.</p> <p></p><p><br></p><b>The Team:</b><div>The Senior Real Estate Counsel, Renewables will play a key role in Unison’s core mission.  We seek experienced counsel with demonstrated success in executing business strategy, accelerating a pipeline of transactions to closing, and exercising sound judgment to assess and manage portfolio risk.  The attorney will interact regularly with team members from senior management, origination, pricing, and property management, while working remotely from their home office.</div><p><br></p><b>The Role:</b><div> <ul> <li style="text-align: left; font-size: 10pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Leading efforts to support the origination and closing of renewable energy real estate assets in the United States. </span></li> <li style="text-align: left; font-size: 10pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Managing a pipeline of deals across the US and facilitating dialogue between pricing, origination, legal, and the management team.</span></li> <li style="text-align: justify; font-size: 10pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Negotiating and drafting documents for commercial real estate transactions. </span></li> <li style="text-align: left; font-size: 10pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Overseeing due diligence activities and underwriting assets for lease terms, projected cash flow, and operator, offtaker, and facility information.</span></li> <li style="text-align: left; font-size: 10pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Advising on strategic transactions and commercial matters.</span></li> </ul> </div><p><br></p><b>Requirements:</b><p>REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul style="list-style-type: square;"> <li>6-12 years as a commercial real estate attorney at a mid to large-sized law firm and in-house at a renewable energy developer is required.</li> <li>Understanding of the financing, development, and operation of solar, wind, and battery projects.</li> <li>Fluent with technology and remote work.</li> <li>Juris Doctor and bar admission in good standing in at least one U.S. state.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without visa sponsorship.</p> <p> </p> <p>PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:</p> <p>The successful candidate must bring a high level of ethical, intellectual, professional, and personal values that complement the team and company culture, including:</p> <ul style="list-style-type: square;"> <li>Entrepreneurial and collaborative team spirit.</li> <li>A love of adventure and passion for learning</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to exercise sound business judgment.</li> <li>Outstanding oral, written, and analytical skills.</li> </ul><p><br></p><p></p> <div>$175,000 - $250,000 a year</div><small><div>Compensation includes base pay and variable bonus.</div></small> <p>Unison offers competitive compensation and benefits packages.</p>
