We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role. </strong></p> <p>We are seeking a <strong>Sr. Security Engineer </strong>who will be responsible for providing guidance and improving the organization's security strategy as a security generalist. This is an opportunity to join a growing Cyber Security team in a growin technology company. </p> <p><strong>Your impact:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Implement security scanning into existing CI/CD workflows.</li> <li>Engineer, Implement and monitor security measures for the protection of restricted company data.</li> <li>Assist department heads with creating secure and compliant workflows.</li> <li>Using Vulnerability Management work with system owners to remediate discovered vulnerabilities.</li> <li>Manage and maintain our vulnerability management solution.</li> <li>Build and maintain detection and response systems such as a SIEM.</li> <li>Risk Assessments and defining required security controls.</li> <li>Develop and maintain security policies.</li> <li>Provide security expertise to development teams.</li> <li>Analyze business needs, research, and recommend solutions.</li> <li>Occasional after-hours work.</li> <li>Work with MDR Services to respond to incidents and document incidents. </li> </ul> <p><strong>About you:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Four-year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Information Security or equivalent</li> <li>5+ years’ experience in a security related position – at least 2 years in a SaaS environment</li> <li>2+ years administrating systems</li> <li>2+ years working with Amazon Web Services in production environments.</li> <li>Familiar with NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, and ISO27001 frameworks.</li> <li>Basic understanding of PCI-DSS</li> <li>Solid understanding of OWASP</li> <li>Experience working in a SOC2 environment</li> <li>Good understanding of security benchmarking such as CIS Standards</li> <li>Understanding of at least one scripting language such as Bash, Python, Perl, GO or Ruby</li> <li>Experience with security monitoring tools. SIEM, Vulnerability Management, and IDS</li> <li>Experience with prevention systems IPS, EDR, WAF, and Next-gen Firewalls</li> </ul> <p>Not sure you meet every qualification?
