As a Senior Solutions Architect on the ECRT team, you will partner with some of the world's largest engineering, construction, real estate, and transportation & logistics companies, AWS Sales, and several other AWS teams to craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services.<br><br>As a trusted customer advocate, you will help organizations understand best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions — with a particular emphasis on AI/ML, Generative AI, and Agentic AI — and how to modernize existing workloads to the cloud. You will have the opportunity to help shape and execute a strategy to build mindshare and broad use of AWS across the engineering, construction, real estate, and transportation industries, from mid-market firms to global enterprises.<br><br>The ideal candidate combines hands-on development and enterprise architecture skills with deep understanding of how AI and cloud technologies transform asset-intensive industries. You must be self-motivated with a proven track record of connecting technology — particularly AI/ML and generative AI — to measurable business value. You will have a passion for educating, training, designing, and building cloud and AI solutions for a diverse set of enterprise customers across engineering, construction, real estate, and transportation & logistics.<br><br>Have a strong understanding of large-scale computing solutions, modern application development, and how AI/ML workloads integrate with enterprise architectures.<br><br>Possess the ability to articulate how Generative AI and Agentic AI can transform industry-specific workflows — from autonomous project management and predictive maintenance to intelligent logistics and smart building operations.<br><br>Key job responsibilities<br><br>As a key member of the account team, partner with ECRT customers to ensure their long-term success by helping them harness the power of AWS services — including Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, and AWS's AI/ML portfolio — to accelerate their business transformation.<br><br>Formulate and execute cloud and AI adoption strategies that delight customers and build strong relationships leading to strategic revenue streams that exceed AWS objectives.<br><br>Become a trusted advisor by gaining deep knowledge of AWS services, AI/ML design patterns, agentic AI frameworks, and industry best practices, and sharing that knowledge with clients, other SAs, and the wider AWS builder community.<br><br>Design and prototype solutions that demonstrate how Generative AI and Agentic AI can address real-world challenges in construction project delivery, real estate operations, logistics optimization, and engineering workflows.<br><br>Act as the voice of the customer for AWS service teams to enhance the AWS platform, particularly for ECRT industry use cases.<br><br>Work with other SAs to develop reusable, industry-specific solutions to common business and architectural problems across the ECRT vertical.<br><br>Educate customers by leading workshops, hands-on labs, and immersion days to demonstrate how to use AWS AI/ML services and modern application architectures.<br><br>Network and build deep relationships with senior technical and business leaders within customer organizations to enable them to be cloud and AI advocates.<br><br>Author and contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers, blog posts, reference architectures, and open-source projects relevant to ECRT industries, and speak at public events.<br><br>Help hire, onboard, and train new SAs via mentorship and builder programs.<br><br>A day in the life<br><br>Our ECRT Solutions Architecture team is dedicated to helping customers in the engineering, construction, real estate, and transportation & logistics industries transform through cloud and AI adoption.
