System Engineering Expert

Job Description The Systems Engineering Specialist provides expert judgment and analysis regarding the architecture of technology products. They are responsible for designing and deploying innovative system solutions, defining technical specifications, integrating components, and optimizing performance. They work closely with development teams to ensure architectural consistency and are experts in designing scalable systems that contribute to continuous innovation.

Responsibilities

Lead requirements analysis for complex development projects

Define technical requirements based on customer and marketing needs in collaboration with the development team and the product manager

Oversee the preliminary design phase of assigned projects

Manage risk for assigned projects

Lead system design reviews in accordance with established processes

Maintain system documentation in collaboration with the R&D team

May be called upon to perform design tasks within their area of expertise

Provide technical guidance for product planning and implementation, in accordance with an integration plan and current development processes

Maintain ongoing relationships with members of various R&D and application teams

Work closely with project managers

Set deadlines and manage project constraints

Identify new product opportunities and define parameters for product design and the direction to be taken in this regard

Coordinate technical efforts across various disciplines to execute projects

Prepare, as needed, technical reports regarding product design and performance

Provide technical leadership for planning and implementation

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, software engineering, physics engineering, or any other equivalent field

At least 5 years of experience in technology product architecture in the ET/UT or NDT field

Bilingual in French and English

Strong leadership skills

Strong project management skills
