Serving as a hybrid Technical Project Manager and Integrations Specialist, you will guide customers through the discovery, planning, configuration, and deployment of reliable data pipelines between Redzone and their third-party systems (such as ERPs or CMMS platforms).</p><p>This role requires a technical generalist who excels at driving project milestones, managing customer relationships, and using platform tools, including AI-assisted middleware tools like Boomi, to perform hands-on configurations. </p><p>You will ensure seamless data exchange across Redzone's core integration pathways: SFTP, Public RESTful APIs, Single Sign-On (SSO), and OPC UA Automation.</p><p><em>This position is full-time, exempt, remote and based in the United States. Employee may be required to travel occasionally, up to 10% annually.</em></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities and Duties</strong></p><p><strong>Integration Project Management & Customer Relations</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Lead Integration Delivery: </strong>Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers from project kick-off to go-live, ensuring milestones are achieved on time.</li><li><strong>Technical Discovery: </strong>Conduct scoping sessions with customer IT teams and system integrators to translate business requirements into structured integration plans.</li><li><strong>Consultative Guidance:</strong> Clearly explain complex integration concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, establishing clear partnership boundaries and expectations.</li></ul><p><strong>Hands-On Technical Configuration</strong></p><ul><li><strong>API Suite Support: </strong>Guide customers on how to interact with Redzone's standard RESTful OpenAPI library. Provide clear architectural advice on how customers must iterate operations programmatically.</li><li><strong>SFTP Utility Deployment:</strong> Set up and test automated one-way data imports (via CSV templates) utilizing FTP clients.</li><li><strong>SSO Implementation:</strong> Coordinate and configure Single Sign-On integrations using SAML-based Identity Providers (IdPs), managing automatic user provisioning and customer metadata exchange.</li><li><strong>OPC UA & Data Automation Setup: </strong>Assist in provisioning and configuring Redzone’s proprietary client agent (RZLogger) alongside standard OPC Servers (such as KepServerEX) to automatically pull PLCs and other industrial devices’ data.</li></ul><p><strong>Middleware Utilization & Boundaries</strong></p><ul><li><strong>AI-Assisted Middleware Mapping:</strong> Leverage specialized AI tools (such as Boomi) to quickly build, transform, and manage data workflows within the Boomi environment.</li><li><strong>Enforce Integration Boundaries:</strong> Educate customers on the technical boundaries of the Redzone ecosystem.</li><li><strong>Maintain Agnostic Support: </strong>Reinforce that Redzone is system-agnostic. Support and coach the customer’s IT team or partners as they build and host their own automated middleware workflows, while stepping in to handle the Redzone-side configurations, or owning integrations solutions for customers who purchase integrations projects from Redzone.</li></ul><p><strong>Key Boundaries of the Role (What You Do Not Do)</strong></p><ul><li><strong>No PLC/Hardware Engineering: </strong>You will coordinate the data-gathering setups (OPC UA/RZLogger), but you will not write low-level PLC code or perform physical instrumentation engineering.</li><li><strong>No Outbound Scraping: </strong>Redzone does not programmatically "fetch" or pull data from external third-party environments; you will configure Redzone to receive incoming data pipelines managed by either Redzone or the customer.</li></ul></div></section><section class="job-section" id="st-qualifications"><div><p class="googlejobs-paragraph--empty"></p><h2 class="title">Qualifications</h2></div><div class="wysiwyg" itemprop="qualifications"><ul><li><strong>Experience Level: </strong>3–5 years of experience in a technical consulting, technical project management, or integrations engineering role, ideally within a manufacturing, supply chain, or enterprise SaaS environment.</li><li><strong>Strong Project Management:</strong> Proven track record of managing multiple customer projects simultaneously, managing stakeholder expectations, and driving project timelines.</li><li><strong>Exceptional Communication:</strong> Superior relationship-building skills with a demonstrated ability to switch seamlessly between speaking with frontline factory operators, technical IT engineers, and corporate executives.</li><li><strong>Integrations Generalist Core:</strong> Solid conceptual and practical understanding of:<ul><li><strong>Web Services:</strong> RESTful API architecture, JSON data formats, HTTP methods, and Bearer Token/OAuth authentication flows.</li><li><strong>File Transfers: </strong>SFTP server structures, directory management, and CSV format constraints (UTF-8).</li><li><strong>Identity Management: </strong>SAML, SSO architecture, Identity Providers (IdP), and claims configuration.</li><li><strong>Industrial Automation Basics: </strong>Fundamental understanding of OPC UA or Modbus architecture, Kepware/KepServerEX, and VM networking logic.</li></ul></li><li><strong>Adaptability & Tech Savvy: </strong>High comfort level adopting new technology interfaces and leveraging generative AI tooling to accelerate operational configurations.
