The candidate will support the Technical SME and Program Manager with developing automated testing solutions utilizing Selenium and deliver high quality output and guidance to each of the Team Leads and staff members. Some overtime work may be required to support this fast-paced environment. </span><span data-ccp-props="{" 201341983":0,"335557856":16777215,"335559739":0,"335559740":259}"=""> </span></p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p><p><br></p><b>Primary Responsibilities: </b><div> <ul> <li>Serve as Lead test automation developer utilizing Selenium for Momentum testing initiatives overseeing team of Selenium developers. </li> <li>Perform code reviews and promote changes through development and release code repository branches. </li> <li>Coordinate test case development, enhancement development, and defect resolution with development team. </li> <li>Work with Technical Lead and Testing Lead to coordinate Unit/UAT/SIT/Regression testing events and design, develop, and deliver testing outputs and deliverables. </li> <li>Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks aligned with enterprise standards. </li> <li>Evaluate and recommend automation approaches, tools, and best practices to maximize testing efficiency and minimize testing complexity. </li> <li>Assist in the development of automated testing solutions leveraging Selenium and a supporting array of software development languages and tools. </li> <li>Ensure automated testing solutions are version‑controlled, traceable, and well‑documented. </li> <li>Configure, maintain, and upgrade the automation tool environments and related plugins.  </li> <li>Integrate automation tools with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub, and other automation applications) to enable continuous testing and repeatability.  </li> <li>Manage test environment connectivity, data dependencies, and tool access for the technical and testing teams. </li> <li>Support testing automation team to achieve high quality testing results and full traceability between test scripts and requirements traceability matrix. </li> </ul> </div><p><br></p><b>Minimum Requirements: </b><ul> <li>Master’s degree and 8 years of software development or software engineering experience  </li> <li>Hands-on Technical/Development Experience with Selenium and/or Java  </li> <li>Experience installing, maintaining, and working with CI/CD Automation tools such as Jenkins or Job Schedulers such as Control-M. </li> <li>Experience working in Agile Development environments </li> <li>Proficiency with Groovy, Java, Perl, Bash, PowerShell, or similar common scripting languages used within automation frameworks. </li> <li>Experience working with automated API testing utilizing tools such as Postman and/or SoapUI </li> <li>Experience working within or supporting federal agencies or highly regulated environments. </li> <li>Ability to work within multi-environment federal testing ecosystems (e.g., DEV, TEST, UAT, ‑PreProd‑).  </li> <li>Strong understanding of API and GUI testing capabilities. </li> <li>Experience with version control systems such as GitHub. </li> <li>Ability to analyze test failures and perform root cause‑ analysis. </li> <li>Strong written and oral communication skills. </li> <li>Experience with Department of Veterans Affairs.  </li> <li>Ability to obtain a public trust clearance.  </li> </ul><p><br></p><b>Preferred Qualifications: </b><div> <ul> <li>Momentum Financials experience is preferred </li> <li>Experience working with RedHat OpenShift. </li> <li>Experience testing financial systems, ERP modules, or similar enterprise applications. </li> </ul> </div><p><br></p><b>Benefits (including but not limited to):</b><div> <ul> <li>Health, dental, and vision plans</li> <li>Optional FSA</li> <li>Paid parental leave</li> <li>Safe Harbor 401(k) with employer contributions 100% vested from day 1</li> <li>Paid time off and 11 paid holidays</li> <li>No cost group term life/AD&D plan, and optional supplemental coverage</li> <li>Pet insurance</li> <li>Monthly phone and internet stipend</li> <li>Tuition and training reimbursement</li> </ul> </div><p><br></p><p></p> <div>$145,000 - $160,000 a year</div><small><div><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">This range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as Trilogy Federal conducts an individual equity review for every candidate based on experience, location, education, industry experience, and comparisons to internal pay bands.
